Every night is unique. Based on the weather, we choose to go to the place where we have the best chance for clear skies, which we need to be able to see the northern lights. Equipped with camera, headlamp and tripod, we learn about the Arctic nature and how to handle the camera in order to bring memories back home from the tour.

Wow! What a wonderful night with Ylva searching for the northern lights. I’m disabled and use a cane. Without making me feel like a liability, Ylva found a spot where we could clearly see the lights dance and I didn’t have to walk too far. Also appreciated the clear instructions on using the camera. We ended the night around a camp fire with treats and stories from her ancestors.

It’s an interesting experience for those who want to learn how to take photos with the auroras, but they should know that sometimes it takes time, so you have to try to go before the auroras are in the sky or one of the group learns fast and takes the photos to everyone so they don’t miss having their photo with the auroras.

We were lucky and did the last tour this spring. Ylva was our guide and she was great. We had clouds at the first spot unfortunately quickly and she drove with us to another place that was fantastic. And there we saw magnificent aurora borealis. Personally, we had our own equipment, but we could have borrowed both high-quality cameras and tripods from Ylva. Only the SD card had to be paid for, but you take it home because of the photos on it. Ylva drove us safely (very calm and relaxed) so I didn't need a travel pill ☺. On the way she told us a lot about the area, so the ride was not boring either. While photographing the aurora borealis we were always well looked after and asked if everything worked out, etc. We did not need any help, but with the people who had borrowed a camera, Ylva always took care of any questions that might arise. It was a mega impressive evening and I can recommend this company to all people who are looking for nice places to photograph or who have arrived without their own equipment.

We had an unforgettable Northern Lights tour with our amazing guide, Ylva! She was incredibly kind, flexible, and knowledgeable. At the first spot, the clouds made it hard to see the lights, but Ylva didn’t give up and took us to a second location, as well on a frozen lake - where we were rewarded with a spectacular light show! We ended up staying two extra hours because it was just so magical. The high-quality photography equipment and Ylva’s expert tips helped us capture stunning photos. She shared so much interesting information about nature, wildlife, and the northern sky. The whole experience was beautifully organized and had a very warm, friendly atmosphere. Thank you, Ylva!

I’m so thankful we booked this northern lights tour! Ylva made this experience unforgettable. From the start, she was welcoming, kind, and full of enthusiasm. We didn’t see much at the first spot due to cloud cover, but she took us to another, more remote place—where the sky lit up with magical colors! We stayed longer than planned because no one wanted to leave. The gear was great and Ylva helped everyone set up the borrowed cameras to get the perfect shots. She also told us so much about the local wildlife and nature, which made the evening even more special. Thank you, Ylva, for the beautiful memories!

Amazing spots, amazing guide Amazing tour! Ylva was super friendly and knew exactly what she was doing. She drove us to two fantastic viewing spots, and at the second one, we saw incredible Northern Lights. We stayed one hour longer than the tour was planned because it was so beautiful. She has great quality camera equipment and tripods, if you don’t have your own one and lots of helpful advice on how to capture the lights. Ylva also shared interesting facts about the local nature and life. And at the end we saw a moose!! Totally worth it! It was a really amazing tour! Thanks Ylva!!

This Northern Lights tour exceeded all expectations. Our guide, Ylva, was not only very friendly and helpful but also impressively knowledgeable about the Aurora and local nature. Although the first viewing spot had poor conditions due to clouds, she quickly adapted and brought us to a second location with an incredible display of lights. She extended the tour by two hours so we could fully enjoy the moment. The equipment provided was top-notch, and Ylva offered great guidance on camera settings and techniques. A truly enriching experience with a professional touch. Highly recommended!

This tour is ran by a small family company, we had Erica and Ylva, who are locals and have knowledge about the lapaland culture. It is important to set expectations. The guides will give you equipment, a very good and sturdy tripod and a basic knowledge on camera/phone setitngs for northen lights pictures. The pictures will be made by yourself - which is not an easy task. The guides are not professional photographers themselves. In my opnion if you have just one/few days and no car to find clear skies this tour might be good for you. If you can drive away, get camera setting right from internet, and practice yourself or want photos taken by a professional this is not whta you are looking for.

Thanks to our professional photographer guide (whose name I forgot) I arrived with my camera, but, the other explorers of the group had one on loan. A quick approach to the art of taking pictures of aurora and here we are. No luck, particularly blocked skies. And above all exceptional! We are in a year the highest solar viewpoint! We are in the country where we see the most beautiful dawns! And that evening, a Kp .....2!!! Aurora can shine and a full moon! But we made some nice shots. A big thank you to the Guide who made me discover a setting on my APN!!! AND if he reads this, I'd like him to contact me. But it remains an experience!!!!
