The Northern Lights Experience was our third activity with Soma Adventures, and by now it feels impossible to imagine our Lapland visits without Heli being part of them. My husband and I first came to Levi in October 2025 and instantly fell in love with this beautiful little corner of the world. One of the biggest reasons we felt so compelled to return was Heli. She has such a warm, genuine presence, and she shares her love for Levi and Lapland in a way that is deeply heartfelt and unforgettable. On this visit, we did both the ice fishing and Northern Lights experiences, and they were both incredible. We had so much fun, and I was thrilled to even catch a couple of fish. But what stays with me most is how these experiences made me feel. Heli has a way of making you feel connected not just to the activity, but to the place itself. Through her, we experienced Lapland in a more personal and meaningful way, and it made me fall in love with Lapland even more. Lapland is truly my happy place, and Soma Adventures is a big part of why. Heli’s kindness, passion, and love for her home shine through in everything she does, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

We had the chance to spend a week holiday in Finnish Lapland in Levi. It was extraordinary and wonderful. The icing on the cake was our trip to the Northern Lights. It was an unforgettable experience and will remain forever etched in our heads. We were lucky to have clear skies that evening and we had fireworks in the sky. In addition, the adventure was magnified by our young guides and guests ( Pikka and Tuikkn ) who received us at their house in their cabins by offering us food and drink around a fireplace warming us (-25 degrees that evening less you). We also had all the necessary explanations about the Northern Lights but also about the Sami culture. An excursion not to be missed around Levi. To advise. Thank you, Pikka. Thank you Tuikkn Do not change and keep making us dream 🙏👍

It was amazing in a word. Heli is very enthusiastic and shows you a piece of Lapland through the glasses of its own inhabitants. And the cabin is so beautiful, the sausages, the drink and the homemade cakes, super

Really wonderful experience! The guides were all women, extremely kind and considerate: they welcomed us with great warmth in their structure, making us feel immediately at home. We tasted a typical sausage cooked on the fire, simple but delicious, which made the moment even more authentic. The location is very suggestive, surrounded by nature, and the real gift of the evening was a simply beautiful northern lights. An excursion that we will take to the heart and that we absolutely recommend!

It was an amazing experience! Heli and Pikku were both wonderful hosts and really made the experience a great memory! We went out on the lake with the sledge and saw some beautiful lights. They had Finnish treats for the group to enjoy. On the ride back we stopped and saw more beautiful lights. I highly recommend this excursion. It’s worth it!

This very authentic with SOMA adventures was the absolute highlight of my 10-day trip to Lapland. From Levi, we head north into the wilderness in about 40 minutes to a romantic little cottage by a private lake, from where you can watch the spectacle in the sky completely undisturbed. Heli, the local owner, conveys with great dedication exciting information not only about the 'Fox Fires' as the locals call the Northern Lights, but also about their own everyday life here in the Far North. In addition, local sausages are grilled by the open fire in the house and there is fine hot berry juice to warm up. 99% guarantee that you can see the Northern Lights. To my knowledge, SOMA-Adventures is the only company in the area that also adjusts or even cancels tours in case of bad odds and pays back the advance.

It was a beautiful experience. Heli was a great guide, very kind and nice. We didn't see many Northern Lights, yet it was great with the beautiful scenery and cozy cabin. There were hot drinks, cookies, sausages and marshmallows for the open fire. We were also able to use sauna with ice dipping for once that evening. Wow. Highly recommended! Thanks Heli and team 😍

The best tour we have experienced on our trip. Great location, super friendly hosts, we felt very welcome . We were able to warm up in the cottage , and received cakes, snacks, sausages and hot drinks. There were short distances to overcome, so that our "footsick" could also participate well. Overall an all-round harmonious event, where we were also lucky enough to be able to see the Northern Lights. Highly recommended, especially because of the friendliness of the hosts.
