What To Expect

You will begin your wine journey in the village of Ampuis, cradle of Côte-Rôtie AOC. Along a stroll in the vineyard, you’ll learn why this wine is exceptional. Good wines but poor guide/driver. He left without making sure all patrons were securely in the vehicle, weaved in and out of the traffic and scared all passengers. Spoke down to all English speaking participants often targeting them in what felt like deeming tone. On a positive note, we tried many wines that tasted nice. It is shame the guide ruined the experience.

Beautiful drive through ancient vineyards, very informative and friendly tour guide, 2 vineyard visits… and best of all, I learned what could be made from my garden Concord grapes.

Informative, fun, good wine. The guide was knowledgeable and the region was picturesque. We met another American couple who shared the fun and made it that much more nice.

The wineries we went to were nice. But it was much shorter than expected. We were back prior to 3 hours. The tour guide dropped us off fairly quickly and then rushed away. It wasn't a good value for the money.

Our tour guide, Roman, was excellent. He was knowledgeable about wine and wine making and entertaining as well. We visited two wineries, both of which had delicious wine. The tour was well worth the time and price!

The wineries we visited are unique and wonderful examples of the local wine. Very informative and fun. Francois was very kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend if you want to truly experience real wineries that are doing their own thing

Eddie, our guide, was nice and engaging, which made the tour enjoyable. We visited two wineries, learned a bit of history, and stopped in a charming town with great views. The wines were fine, though not especially memorable. Overall a pleasant experience, maybe not the best value.
