You'll visit some of the childhood places that shaped him, art and locations that honor him today, and a few spots you'll recognize from his lyrics. If you love Biggie's music or are a music lover, this tour is for you!

5.00By far the best walking tour I’ve ever been on. Marcus was brilliant and knew everything there was to know about Biggie and the Brooklyn areas. For a fan like me it was so interesting to learn new things about him and where he grew up but my family (who aren’t huge fans) loved the tour and were just as involved because Marcus was including them so well. The tour was a perfect length as we weren’t rushing everywhere and took time in places that we wanted to, but it didn’t take a full day up. 10/10 would recommend and hope to be back soon. Thanks Marcus!

5.00We love old-school hip hop, and taking the NYC Biggie Smalls tour with tour guide Marcus Hillman was like walking and talking with a hilarious, versatile, knowledgeable friend. We’ve done many tours in many places, but when you’re on a walking tour and the conversation is appealing and every word holds interest, it makes a difference. We can honestly say we learned so much more than just about Biggie but about Brooklyn itself. This tour speaks volumes, and it’s definitely one for the books. We highly recommend Marcus if you want to know more about hip hop and beyond, and you never know who you’ll run into along the way with him ( we met Spike Lee 🥰). We definitely will tour with him again.
Highly recommended experience for all the hip-hop enthusiasts!

Biggie’s legacy was never in question but this tour gave us a context and a sense of place that exceeded our expectations and deepens our understanding and respect not only for the man himself but the neighbourhood he called home. 5.00We did the Biggie tour this summer. Marcus knows a lot about Biggie's life and neighborhood, as well as the history of hip hop, and he shares his knowledge with passion. We even chatted with the proprietor of Biggie’s favorite diner. It was a great time!

5.00You cannot say you’ve visited New York without doing this incredible Biggie tour! Our guide, Marcus, brought Biggie’s story to life. His story telling made us feel you were right there when it happened. His energy kept us engaged the whole time, and we felt like we’ve known Marcus for a long time. Marcus answered questions with great insight and some memorable humour too! We learnt a great deal as previously our knowledge was mainly off movies. It is something you don’t want to miss!
