What To Expect
Have you ever wanted to know what it feels like to travel through the arctic breeze by a pack of magnificent husky's? If the answer is yes, this is a perfect tour for you! During 5 kilometers long sleigh ride you can enjoy snowy pure nature and feel the speed of huskies. First we will get well geared and ready for the excursion at our dressing rooms. Then we will embark on a car ride where we will give you a brief for the upcoming day while admiring the pure and calming nature of Rovaniemi. After the car ride is over, we will arrive at the private lakeside plot. Here the kind and very experienced staff will give you all the important information you need and take you for the best Husky ride of your lifetime! You'll be captivated by the serene beauty of the Arctic wilderness and the exhilarating pace of the huskies will captivate you as they pull you past beautiful glacially carved hills. The hills of northern Finland have been the shores of the sea for more than 10 000 years. After the thrilling adventure you can meet the Reindeers in our private area.

5.00It has far exceeded our expectations. Our guide Andoni arrived on time to pick up the apartment and after helping us with the clothes we went to the Huskys. The Swedish girl who spoke Spanish (one of the owners of the dogs) explained all the instructions we had to follow and the journey with the dogs was amazing. The tour took place in the middle of nature, in the same lake. In the middle of the journey we could change drivers and even get a picture. All the staff very attentive with us, very professional. Euskal Herritik, segi horrela ta eskerrik asko Andoni !!!

5.00We did the husky ride and Korouoma waterfalls tour with Stay Lapland and had the best time! The pickup was always on time and the guides were nice and helpful -- and the experiences themselves were amazing as well. The huskies in particular seemed well cared for. We were even offered an upgraded tour to the waterfalls instead of snowshoeing for the same price. We recommend using this company for activities around Rovaniemi.

5.00We had 2 separate husky rides cancelled when we came across staylapland who said they could do the husky ride We was picked up at our Airbnb by a lovely lady called Anne who was lovely she took us to the office where we was checked if we needed warmer clothing We was then taken by minibus by another lovely lady called Sophia who talked to us about the history of Finland and where she’s from The husky ride was my daughters favourite part of the trip they took us on a frozen lake the guy taking us round was informative of the area and the dogs memories to last a lifetime afterwards we was allowed to interact with the huskies they even allowed me to put my drone up where I captured great photos and videos I would recommend this company to anyone coming out, we was then taken back to the office and the dropped bay to our Airbnb thank you staylapland

5.00Advised experience 100x100 In small groups and with very close monitors, being able to drive the sled with the dogs at all times, very cool walk with spectacular landscapes and passing over the icy lake. Special mention for Asier, a very close monitor sharing his knowledge of the country, customs and experiences, even offered us his coffee once the hot juice ran out

5.00We did the 5 km huskies sled ride, and it has been the best experience we have had in Rovaniemi, when you arrive you get a sled for every 2 people and you drive it, and the road is beautiful, we were taken through the middle of the forest and crossed an icy lake and at the end they have a fire to warm you up and drink something hot. Our guide Asier was amazing, very nice, friendly, attentive, punctual and told us a lot of curiosities from Finland and we learned a lot of local culture, it is nice to do excursions with such a guide. Asier I hope you do great on your Finnish adventure

5.00Only great words for this tour. Incredible people that truly love animals. We had an amazing time and i cant wait to experience it again. We had plenty of time for pictures a quick snack and presentation about the farm. Absolutely loved the dogs!!

5.00We completed the husky tour and it was seriously a life highlight! What a bucket list moment come true. The whole process was so easy. We organised it through our accomodation which was also perfect. They provided all the gear to help us stay warm and made the process to enjoyable! Would do again in a heart beat. Definitely recommend.

5.00We did 2 different activities with StayLapland, one was with huskys which was amazing in a beautiful landscape. The other one was with snowmobile to chase northern lights. I recommand you to choose StayLapland for each activities you mat want to do there ! Thank you again and see you soon !
