This guided tour of Kaiserburg (including tickets) and the old town takes you in a small group and family atmosphere through Nuremberg's most beautiful places!

Experience the unique history of the medieval imperial city of Nuremberg! Following in the footsteps of emperors, great artists and rich patrician families, we explore the unique old town and its architectural monuments. We visit Nuremberg’s most beautiful churches, walk over imposing medieval bridges and at the end of the tour have a traditional red beer tasting in the old town’s home brewery.

We visit the mighty Imperial Castle of Nuremberg and visit the legendary Deep Well in it and climb the Sinwell Tower for a fantastic all-round view over Nuremberg

Such an informative and well catered tour route with everything you would wanna learn about and see in the city!!! Darius was hands down the best host and tour guide with an incredible vibe and such energy throughout the entire day! The beer tasting at the end was the perfect exclamation point on a perfect day of sightseeing and history learning! I would recommend any and every one to do this tour!

I cannot recommend Darius highly enough. My friend and I were in Nuremberg for the first time and had booked Fratello Tours for a tour of the Castle and Old Town. We had trouible finding the meeting point but Darius was incredibly patient, friendly and helpful. He grew up in Nuremberg and has an incredible knowledge of the history and cultutre of the city as well as a deep love for it, which made for a very 'local'and personal tour. Our own knowledge of Nuremberg was practically non-existent and not being history-buffs either, Darius naturally adjusted the content and pitch of the tour and tailored it to our interests and capacity. I was very impressed by this and got the sense that he would be able to accommodate all sorts of visitors, and pitch it at their level of knowledge and interest. He also introduced us to the oh so delicious Elisen-Lebekuchen, and so we now know that all Lebekuchen is not created equal! Thank you for the best tour of our trip, Darius and sorry it's taken us a while to write a review. Wishing you a very happy New Year!

This was an awesome tour! Private tour type of feel with someone who has lived in or around the area for a long time. Always good to know the in and outs of an area from a local. Made solid recommendations of things to do and eat to ensure we get the full cultural experience. This may be a little more pricey than some of the other options out there, but I can assure you it’s worth the money!!! You get what you pay for!!

Darius was fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming. He knows the area welll, having grown up next to the castle. Darius is very knowledgeable, and provides a great story and view into how the city was formed along with the castle. I thoroughly enjoyed his tour and I would highly recommend.

We booked a tour with Darius before we left Australia and we were so happy with our day-Darius was very knowledgeable and lives and breathes Nuremberg’s history. We spent the first 1/2 of the morning visiting Nazi/WW2 sites, then walking through the Old Town. Highly recommend Darius as a tour guide and we’re hoping to see him in Romania for a week’s touring
