What To Expect
Gregory Lake
Gregory Lake was created in 1873 by the British era Governor at the time, Sir William Gregory, supposedly for the purpose of providing electricity. However the lake was mainly used for leisure and recreation after it was built. At its peak of fame, Gregory Lake was the most prominent attraction in the area and was used a place to relax by many visitors.
St Clair's Falls
St Clair’s is one of the widest waterfalls in Sri Lanka and called the “Little Niagara of Sri Lanka”. It is a strikingly beautiful waterfall, which is approximately 80 meters in height and 50 meters in width. This waterfall runs over a rock ridge, splitting into three cascades, and drops into a pool.

5.00Everything about Nuwaraeliya was nice - cool weather, clean place, lovely, friendly people, and good value for money. Well worth a visit. Water rafting is very professionally done, with adherence to all necessary safety measures. Food was nice all the way through.

5.00This is my 2nd time and this is way better than the first time... Instructor was very patient and clear in English. He clearly says what to do and What not to do. This was cheaper than my last time. Me and Wife felt very safe all through the event. We did River Rafting, Water Stream Sliding and Confidence Jump(took forever to get the confidence). Also, the Pick service was arranged from our Hotel in Kandy. Chaminda, the Tour guide was exceptional and polite. We learnt a lot from him about Kandy and SRI Lanka. He took us to nice, local shops where Tea and Food was good. I really really suggest this trip.
