Queen Kapi'olani Park
Kapiʻolani Park is Honolulu’s largest and oldest public park, originally gifted by King Kalākaua in 1877 and named after his wife, Queen Kapiʻolani. As we drive by, you'll see its lush greenery, towering banyan trees, and open fields, all set against the stunning backdrop of Diamond Head, a volcanic crater known as Lēʻahi in Hawaiian. Once a gathering place for Hawaiian royalty, the park remains a cherished spot for locals and visitors alike.

Saw the island in one day! Very helpful in choosing what we want to go back and see. The tour guide was very informative

Ray was an excellent expert during all phases of our tour today. He was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the tour from the sites to making sure we knew at what stops the bathrooms were.

It was ok, but could have been better. Our driver was a nice guy, but he didn’t seem to know much about the culture and places we went to. He did not make it interesting, and did not interact as much with the passengers in the small bus. He could have made it way better by engaging more with everyone, and he could have given details of the places, times, and history of the island. Sometimes the driver would tell us to look at something through the window, but he would drive fast enough that it was not possible to see. Lunch time was very short - lunch itself was not great for the price. A bummer that the waterfall was not a waterfall! The botanical garden is gorgeous though.

Get Ian as your guide! He not only went to the main spots to see, he explained the history and culture. Also, he was friendly and had us having fun!

Our tour guide Cap - was amazing. He was funny and knowledgeable. He made the drive interesting. The stops were top notch. With enough time to view and take pictures. It was a great way to start our stay on Oahu.
