What To Expect

You will be picked up between 8:00 am and 8:15 am at the designated hotels in Waikiki or Kahala area.
Halona Blowhole
Enjoy the views of the the Halona Blowhole as it sprays out water from the Pacific Ocean as well as the Halona Cove, which is a small secluded beach often used in movies.

Small group, great guide!

4.00Picked up from our hotel on time and had a small group in the van (7 of us total). Alan was a great guide and even though we had a quiet group, he kept right on giving us the information and kept us on schedule. We didn’t want to spend the entire day on a tour so this was the perfect amount of time. It was raining most of our tour (a light drizzle) which ended up being great for us because none of the stops were crowded including the North Shore food trucks!
Best to leave the driving to the locals and more time to take in the views

2.00Tour was very slow and didn’t cover as much culture as we would have liked. Had a lot of stops very early then few the rest of the way. Great if you don’t want to move around much and enjoy being in a car all day. Would recommend just renting a car and doing it on your own instead. Cheaper and you get to decide where you spend your time.

2.00Our guide was completely unenthusiastic and treated the island’s most impressive features, like the mountain ranges, as if they were nothing. There was almost no explanation or storytelling about the landscape or history – just plain boring introduction of what's in the area. And constantly asking at most of the check points if people “wanted to stop for photos,” which meant the experience was driven by whoever in the group shouted first. Unsurprisingly, most participants weren’t interested, so we ended up skipping Koalou mountain scenery, turtle beach, and Haleiwa because of that. This question should never have been brought up by any tour guide.

1.00Do not recommend. There are no meaningful stops along the way, and the introductions provided by the guide were not insightful. Basically a Uber ride.
