A perfect getaway in Roatan island, you will enjoy an amazing sightseeing adventure all the way up to the east end, our guides will take you to the oldest settlement in the island named as Punta Gorda, a Garinagu afro descendent culture, you will receive a small briefing about there arrival to the island, the colorful houses makes it unique, after a few minutes we will head over to Oak Ridge, The Venice of Roatan. One of the best areas on the island for unforgettable photos and water taxis adventures.
Oak Ridge is the capital of the east end, where you can watch the local people move around in small canoes and their lifestyle, houses build around the waterfront on still. In our way back we will stop at Isery, the Pirate boat located near Punta Gorda village for some awesome photos.

5.00AMAZING. I already gave one review. Daniel was a great tour guide and did a great job navigating the pot holes. But the trip was worth it. The Mangrove Forest was an amazing, relaxing, calm ride past houses, large and small, and small bars and cafes. Daniel knew everything. Don’t pass up this tour.

5.00Amazing. Daniel was SO knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with. He knew everything about Roatan and its relationship with the mainland. The road was very bumpy but the trip was worth it. At Oak Ridge boarded small skiff and headed into the lagoon and the mangrove forest. On the shore were big houses, small houses, fishing boats, small yachts, small bars and cafe’s. But the mangrove forest was awesome. SO peaceful and calm. We could have spent all day in there. Highly recommend Daniel and his wife.

1.00This was a terrible excursion. I took it because I wanted to see where my family roots were, but the tour guide had practically no insight to offer about the island of Roatan and/or Oakridge and Punta Gorda. I was not impressed one bit by the mangroves trip. It was wasted $$$.
Outstanding afternoon exploring the East Side with our guide Luis Diaz! Time well spent.

5.001. The Punta Gorda cultural center. the history of the Garifuna people is so interesting. The women at this center did such a great job of telling their story 2. the Mangrove Tunnel boat ride. the mangroves and the history of the tunnels are fascinating and Capt Alex was so welcoming and fun! 3. Our tour guide for Luis Diaz was engaging, informative, and fun. He is a native of the island and extremely knowledgeable.
