Folks were great as we were delayed by an accident in the drive there. Gave us options, got us there for the second half of the trip and our guide was fun and knowledgeable

We enjoyed our kayak tour with four other people. Quinn was a helpful and informative guide who managed changing weather very well and also helped other kayakers and hikers. Wear shorts/ swimwear as you will get wet. Bring a bag/ backpack with towel and dry clothes- this will go in the kayak’s watertight hatch.

Thanks to Emma and Zak it was a perfect tour for me. I have never done kayaking before, and to do that on the open water was a little scary. However, it all came together and I had a great time! Zak has a way of making people welcome and tries to set up a connection with the team while explaining the tour, the gear etc. Considering the amount of people you see every day, that is quite an exception! Emma, our tour guide was absolutely wonderful. She made us feel safe and diffused any worries while on the water (we had some waves and quite a bit of wind) just by kayaking closer to us and having a chat with us for distraction. She was also very friendly and helpful! she knew so much about the history of the places, the birds, the rocks, the trees and why the water sparkles in that area😁 I can full heartedly recommend R&R Kayaking! You guys are the best!

Our guide Pandy was excellent. The all day trip included three spectacular lagoons. The weather can be rough and the water taxi ride, very exciting.

Went on a tour with my mother, and it was excellent. Our guide was Quinn was our guide and he kept it entertaining by using his knowledge of local wildlife. While it’s not promised he made sure we could see as many creatures as possible. As far as the admin task I would send anyone there. They ensure you make it to your destination at every step of the way. If it is a smaller group they can cater the experience to what you want to see. I would recommend this to anyone and I wouldn’t ever worry about sending someone to them. Only thing I would recommend is some sort of cushion along the back because the plastic starts to rub against it but that’s my only complaint.

Ka Rawe Tour with Jakeb! Love the taxi ride to Bark Bay, then a delicious lunch and hikoi around the lagoon. A superb coffee and tea picnic spot before taking on the beautiful bays in a double kayak. My partner and I were lucky to have the experience of just us and our guide, along with unlimited history and fun facts about Abel Tasman National Park. The awesomest tour guide, Jakeb, Sealed the ending with a surf into Anchorage Bay. Highly recommend R&R Kayaks when visiting Abel Tasman. With highly informative and passionate guides you can ask them anything, a spot of Kai and an overall fantastic vibe! Thanks R&R Kayaks!

R&R Kayaks were recommended to us, along with the one day Oar-Some Marine Reserve Tour. The R&R Team are friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive, right up until you say farewell. We had an amazing day with our guide Lucas and Whitney too. We learned interesting information about all sorts of things - history, flora, fauna, sea life, etc. Lucas pointed out seals, seabirds, a little blue ‘fairy’ penguin, and some stingrays. We kayaked for a good couple of hours in the morning and then stopped for lunch at Bark Bay. We paid the additional $ to have lunch included. There was certainly plenty of food. After lunch we kayaked for another couple of hours finishing at Anchorage. There are flushing toilets at Bark Bay and Anchorage, along with an outdoor tap for hand washing. On a sunny day remember to reapply sunscreen at lunchtime otherwise at the end of the day you’ll be a bit sunburnt with the sun reflecting off the water. Well worth it.
