We thoroughly enjoyed our mountain bike tour with Humberto! The mix of city and trail riding was fun and exciting. Once out of the city, the back drop of the Sierra Norte was wonderful. The ride up to the Tree of Monkeys was challenging, but well worth the effort. Humberto was very friendly and enhanced the entire trip with his cultural and historical knowledge. The bikes and equipment were well maintained, and Humberto was very encouraging and helpful during the trip. We're looking forward to another tour in the future.

I did this ride with Humberto as the guide. I enjoy riding and it is a great way to add another dimension to visiting the Oaxaca area. I booked the tour and it turned out I was the only one. The bike was good and we rode out of town on a bike path separate from the road. Humberto gave me a choice at one point to leave the path and ride on dirt tracks and we ended up at the Tule tree. We then proceeded on more dirt tracks up to a reservoir and forests, so I could get into the true countryside. It was eye opening to see all the donkeys returning from the forest area loaded down with wood for cooking in the local village, Santo Domingo Tomaltepec. Humberto asked regularly how I was doing, and I did need an extra break on the way back. It was 45km and progressively hot as it got into the early afternoon when we finished. I also rented a bike a few days later to ride out to some villages north of Oaxaca on my own. All in all I highly recommend both Humberto, Bikeflow and riding around Oaxaca as a satisfying experience.

We had an amazing ride with a super friendly guide Humberto. My boyfriend and I got sick the day before the bike tour and Humberto was willing to last minute switch the date of the tour for us. Humberto was very easy to reach and a good communicator. On the day of the ride it was just Humberto, my boyfriend, and I, which was enjoyable because it was not a large group. Humberto made sure to check in with us throughout the ride to be sure we were happy with the pace. The bike ride was a fun mix of the single track, Arbol de Tule, and the gorgeous Santo Domingo Tomaltepec. The views were amazing and Humberto made sure to take plenty of water breaks. Humberto also offered to take photos of us and brought along snacks and drinks for us, which were greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend going on this tour if you were a bit of a challenge and would like to get outside of the city to experience some natural beauty.

I was expecting to be riding out with a group not solo and Humberto was absolutely excellent. He was always watching the pace to make sure that I wasn’t pushing myself too hard and was a great source of local information as well as being an all-round good guy.
