**ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.
ALL Participants will need to obtain special documents to drive in Japan. • For most countries, an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued in the booklet format compliant to the 1949 Geneva Convention is required. Valid IDP's can only be issued by the same country that issued your domestic license and CANNOT be obtained online while traveling. • FOR Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco you will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), NOT an International Driving Permit.
Drivers' licenses issued by countries NOT covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation: the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport.
NO Domestic License alone is accepted as a legal document to drive in Japan.
Street Kart will message you within 24 hrs when confirming booking with information on EXACT documents you need.
Minimum age is 18 years
Wear flat closed footwear. Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.
You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00If you are physically able to get in and out of the go cart then you should definitely do this. This was a lot of fun. You are actually on the streets of Tokyo and it lasted the perfect amount of time. I never felt unsafe. Our guide Tomas was wonderful. He took lots of pictures while we were at stop lights and emailed them to me before I even made it back to my hotel.

5.00I had an amazing go-karting experience in Shibuya and highly recommend it! From start to finish, the safety protocols were excellent and clearly explained. Our guide, Jan, was outstanding — professional, attentive, and constantly checking in to make sure we felt comfortable and confident on the road. We were a small group of just three people, which made the experience feel personal and well managed. Instructions were clear, directions were easy to follow, and I felt completely safe the entire time. Driving through Shibuya and waving to pedestrians was such a fun and unique experience! The costumes were clean and well maintained, and the whole activity was organized seamlessly. It was exciting, fun, and truly unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend!
