**ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.
ALL Participants will need to obtain special documents to drive in Japan. • For most countries, an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued in the booklet format compliant to the 1949 Geneva Convention is required. Valid IDP's can only be issued by the same country that issued your domestic license and CANNOT be obtained online while traveling. • FOR Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco you will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), NOT an International Driving Permit.
Drivers' licenses issued by countries NOT covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation: the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport.
NO Domestic License alone is accepted as a legal document to drive in Japan.
Street Kart will message you within 24 hrs when confirming booking with information on EXACT documents you need.
Minimum age is 18 years
Wear flat closed footwear. Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.
You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.

For some, the concept of a safety briefing (which was very concise and easy to understand) and then straight onto Tokyo streets could be daunting, however it was very comfortable with great instruction. Our driver guide was excellent- very positive and in control of our group. He also provided access to the 160 photos he took along the way. There was an option to take insurance for 1000 yen per person which we did. No one was ever close to be needing to claim against it but it did provide some comfort. Really can’t fault it. We drove GoKarts across Shibuya Crossing three times!! Awesome!

5.00It was a ton of fun. The guide was very friendly and very helpful regarding explaining what we would be doing. He took so many pictures that he air dropped to us as soon as the experience was over. The drive through Tokyo was breathing taking to see and the locals were waving at us. I dressed up as Pikachu and did my impression. Overall it was an amazing time.
