**ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.
ALL Participants will need to obtain special documents to drive in Japan. • For most countries, an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued in the booklet format compliant to the 1949 Geneva Convention is required. Valid IDP's can only be issued by the same country that issued your domestic license and CANNOT be obtained online while traveling. • FOR Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco you will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), NOT an International Driving Permit.
Drivers' licenses issued by countries NOT covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation: the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport.
NO Domestic License alone is accepted as a legal document to drive in Japan.
Street Kart will message you within 24 hrs when confirming booking with information on EXACT documents you need.
Minimum age is 18 years
Wear flat closed footwear. Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.
You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

I highly encourage all visitors to schedule a ride. Miles of smiles through the Shibuya Crossing. One of our many highlights of our trip to Tokyo. Thank You Kart guys, you are very good at what you do!

5.00Well-organised and crazy amounts of fun! We had to wait until the whole family were old enough to have an international drivers permit and it was worth the wait. Cole was a fantastic guide and made the whole experience an absolute blast while keeping us safe. Would absolutely recommend.

5.00This was hands-down one of the MOST exciting things I’ve ever done in Tokyo!!! What an absolutely unforgettable way to experience Shibuya! Oh my gosh—Abrar was beyond fantastic. From the very start, his energy was contagious, and he made us feel completely comfortable and hyped for the adventure ahead. And yes… he led us straight through the Shibuya Scramble — TWICE!!! Driving right through the heart of it all was an adrenaline rush like no other. The lights, the crowds, the nonstop action—it felt like we were in a movie! People were literally stopping to take photos and videos of us as we cruised by. You truly felt like a celebrity rolling through the city. The smiles, the waves, the cheers—it was unreal! The carts themselves were super easy to drive and in excellent condition. Everything felt safe, organized, and professionally run. They made sure we understood the rules and felt confident before we even started, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy every second of the ride. This wasn’t just a tour—it was a full-on experience. Fun, thrilling, unique, and totally unforgettable. I’m already planning to do this again (and probably again after that!). Huge thank you to Abrar and Street Karts for such an epic, high-energy adventure. If you’re in Tokyo and even thinking about it—JUST DO IT!!! You will not regret it!

5.00Being used to crazy A55 driving, for anyone who knows the North Wales trunk road or UK roads in general, driving in Tokyo on a Street kart with these guys was a breath of fresh air. Tokyo drivers were courteous, never a beep from them, some even waving and smiling at us. I'm sure one it two would be rolling their eyes at us but no-one showed it. Even some of the official traffic staff nodded and waved us along. Cole was a calm informed instructor who led us through back streets and main roads including over the Shibuya Crossing. Much easier to drive across it than walk it!
