**ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.
ALL Participants will need to obtain special documents to drive in Japan. • For most countries, an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued in the booklet format compliant to the 1949 Geneva Convention is required. Valid IDP's can only be issued by the same country that issued your domestic license and CANNOT be obtained online while traveling. • FOR Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco you will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), NOT an International Driving Permit.
Drivers' licenses issued by countries NOT covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation: the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport.
NO Domestic License alone is accepted as a legal document to drive in Japan.
Street Kart will message you within 24 hrs when confirming booking with information on EXACT documents you need.
Minimum age is 18 years
Wear flat closed footwear. Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.
You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00Great experience- do it! Did this as a family with our college and young adult kids. Will be one of highlights from the trip for sure and lifetime fun memory for all. From USA got required pre- documents from AAA. We did evening drive and loved it. Brought out the kid in all of us. I think the vibe would be a little different in the daytime. We preferred night vibe for pictures and experience.
Well worth it, lots of fun!

5.00Our ride with Bird was great! He was very attentive to make sure we were safe and he pointed out the cool sights along the way. The carts were super fun to drive, and they weren't challenging to drive at all (only one drive gear, no clutch, etc) so anyone can do it. The carts might be a tad hard to squeeze into if you're above 6'4", but we (my friend who is 6'4" with 6'1"-proportional legs, and me who is 5'11" with 6'4"-proportional legs) were just about barely able to fit comfortably. Even the locals, who see the karts all the time, seem to find it fun, because they loved to wave at us as we drive past.
