**ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.
ALL Participants will need to obtain special documents to drive in Japan. • For most countries, an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued in the booklet format compliant to the 1949 Geneva Convention is required. Valid IDP's can only be issued by the same country that issued your domestic license and CANNOT be obtained online while traveling. • FOR Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco you will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), NOT an International Driving Permit.
Drivers' licenses issued by countries NOT covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation: the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport.
NO Domestic License alone is accepted as a legal document to drive in Japan.
Street Kart will message you within 24 hrs when confirming booking with information on EXACT documents you need.
Minimum age is 18 years
Wear flat closed footwear. Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.
You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00The place you meet is located in a more "colorful" part of Tokyo with a few "love hotels" nearby but once you arrive, the staff are very helpful in getting all the "paperwork" situated so you can just pick your silly outfit you can wear while driving and then watching the short "how to drive a go-kart" video they have prepared. If you know how to drive a car, you will be fine. The driving itself was super fun. A lot of opportunities to go fast on the road but keep in mind, this is REAL Tokyo traffic, so some parts will be slow. But just "follow the leader"! The guide will also take pictures of you all thru-out the actual driving tour (last about 45 min I would say) for souvenirs, etc!

5.00It was such a fun expereince to drive thru the street of Tokyo with our guide Cole. It was my bucket list item to drive on the busiest intersection in the world Shibuya Crossing. I loved the smooth check in process, the informative video and the excitement we had driving at night with all the neon lights of the city. Driving the street carts with real trafic was a pure adrenaline rush. My bucket list fulfilled. I will definitely be back with my family and do this all over again.

5.00Best part of my Tokyo trip. Was easy to drive. Make sure you arrive on time as if you miss your time slot you will have to reschedule. My fault but glad i was able to have the experience.
