**ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.
ALL Participants will need to obtain special documents to drive in Japan. • For most countries, an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued in the booklet format compliant to the 1949 Geneva Convention is required. Valid IDP's can only be issued by the same country that issued your domestic license and CANNOT be obtained online while traveling. • FOR Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco you will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), NOT an International Driving Permit.
Drivers' licenses issued by countries NOT covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation: the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport.
NO Domestic License alone is accepted as a legal document to drive in Japan.
Street Kart will message you within 24 hrs when confirming booking with information on EXACT documents you need.
Minimum age is 18 years
Wear flat closed footwear. Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.
You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00What a fun and unique experience in Tokyo. It was a bit intimidating at first but our guide Xavier did such an amazing job keeping us safe. I highly recommend this on your trip to Tokyo. Make sure to get an international drivers permit or whatever requirements are needed from your home country.

5.00Street karting in Japan was hands down the best experience of my life. I did it in Tokyo, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt surreal. After a quick safety briefing and getting suited up, we were suddenly driving real karts on actual city streets. Cruising past neon lights, weaving through busy intersections, and rolling by iconic landmarks like Tokyo Tower felt like stepping straight into a video game. What made it unforgettable wasn’t just the thrill of driving it was the atmosphere. The city energy is unreal. People waved, took photos, and cheered as we passed. Our guide was fantastic he was professional, fun, and made sure everyone felt safe and confident the entire time. Even though you’re in the middle of a huge city, everything is incredibly organized and smooth, just like you’d expect in Japan. Seeing areas like Shibuya Crossing from a go-kart is something I’ll never forget. It gives you such a unique perspective of the city low to the ground, fully immersed, and completely present in the moment. If you’re visiting Japan and want something beyond the usual sightseeing, do this. It’s exciting, surprisingly easy to get the hang of, and an absolute adrenaline rush while still feeling safe and well-managed. I would go back and do it again in a heartbeat. 10/10 — the most fun I’ve ever had traveling.

5.00That was so much fun! We felt completely safe, slotting into the traffic easily. Abrar was a fantastic guide; he looked after us brilliantly, and took heaps of photos so that we could just enjoy the karting and the sights. It was good to start in daylight to get the feel for the karts and then enjoy the city lights as it got dark.

5.00Awesome time. Great experience for all. Well run and just good fun. Would definitely recommend for anyone going to Japan. We were all adults, so could all drive with our International Driving Permits. Would be good if they had some 2-seater karts where an adult could take a younger person if they had a younger family. I do wonder what they do with the copies of our passports and licenses etc (cyber concern with someone holding my personal info).
