What To Expect

An afternoon walk through one of Cleveland's most vibrant neighborhoods, home to the iconic West Side Market. We'll taste signature menu items and local favorites at each stop. This Cleveland food walk takes us to eateries that offer unique takes on seasonal items and traditional ingredients. A local brewery with delicious and locally sourced specialties; a gourmet Mexican bistro with outstanding cocktails; a neighborhood classic with an eclectic menu; an ice cream shop where you can have your cone and watch the next batch being made. Michelle was s great guide. Plenty of delicious food. We didn't even need dinner after our midday tour. Well worth the price.

Katie was a kind and helpful tour guide who gave us a great overview of the Ohio City neighborhood featuring foods with a sense of place. The pirogies with truffle oil and crispy leeks were decadent. The Pickle/bacon/ranch pizza was a fun surprise. Mitchell’s Ice Cream was amazing (try pumpkin spice) but the barbacoa tacos were my personal favorite. Come hungry!

A lot of walking but you do sit down at several of the places to give yourself a rest. Katie was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the tour very much and recommend it to anyone looking to see a little bit of Cleveland.

Our food tour of Cleveland and Ohio City was time very well spent! Our guide Katie was perfect: clearly an experienced professional guide, but also just super pleasant to be around. We learned lots of fascinating history, saw some lovely homes and buildings, and tasted a lot of delicious local food. Just a fun afternoon… highly recommend!

If you’re going to do a food tour in Cleveland, do THIS one with Michelle. We ate and drank the entire afternoon, at a leisurely pace. Come hungry and pace yourself. The market was great, the breweries are beautiful and everything we ate was delicious. Thank you Michelle for a great afternoon and a wonderful time.

Incredible! If you go to Cleveland, do not miss this tour! Our guide Katie was incredibly kind, thoughtful, organized, and so full of information. The food was off the charts! So much food… Still thinking about the restaurant AVO! Katie, our guide, knocked it out of the park. If we could give more than five stars we would! Highly recommend.

Cleveland native now living in VA; brought my teen daughter back home to CLE to show her all it has to offer. This tour was fantastic with Katie! Loved spending time in the West Side Market, taking in all of the sights, sounds, and smells, and hearing about the history, along with the major renovations coming. Frank’s bratwurst definitely took me back to my childhood! I loved that this food tour wasn’t just food…we stopped at the Glass Bubble and witnessed glass blowing classes in session and walked through Ohio City and St Ignatius. Would love to come back and partake in the glass blowing! Also loved that the food wasn’t so much that you felt like you had to be wheeled out. It was a good variety of hometown Cleveland (brats, sauerkraut, stadium mustard), mixed with comfort food I grew up on (pierogies), new takes on classics (bacon ranch pickle pizza and Scotch eggs), tacos, and ice cream (and buckeyes)!! Definitely recommend this food tour if you want to see a part of the beating heart of The Land! Come hungry…Clean Plate Club rules apply! :)
