I’m Simonetta Bazzu and Battista, the village where my ancestors were born, is over 200 years old.
Here i will guide you on a journey back in time.
This experience takes place in a typical north Sardinian house, a traditional building in the countryside with granite stone walls and a cane roof.
It’s my great-grandparents house.
Here, I’ll reveal the three main secrets to a long, healthy Sardinian life:
PASTA
In my great-grandmother kitchen - 150 years old - you'll mix semolina and water to create ancient pasta shapes on a table carved from a centuries-old tree.
As we cook, I’ll share stories and traditions that nourish both body and mind.
WINE
You'll visit a small artisan winery, explore winemaking tools, learn about Sardinian vineyards, and taste the wine of eternal youth.
FOOD
We’ll end with a typical Sardinian meal (lunch or dinner), featuring pasta you made, local cheeses, garden vegetables, fresh bread, desserts, and more — all organic, all authentic.

START welcome, presentation PASTA CLASS: we will start the journey knowing the lifestyle of the Sardinians and the activity of domestic work. In the "stazzo" of the family, we will knead water and semolina and give shape to 2 types of ancient pasta. I will tell you old anecdotes, and I will relax your mind. When the head is well, the body is fine. This is the first stage of longevity. THE WINE: we know the wine of "eternal youth". We will move to the village to go to the small wine cellar to learn about our wine and its processing phases with ancient method, You will feel the scents, you will taste the flavor and admire its colors. This is the second stage of longevity. LUNCH or DINNER: a healthy and long life. What do Sardinians eat? A meal with several courses will take you to the first stage of longevity. I will conquer your palates with flavors of Arimani, "yesterday", the food of my ancestors, the products of one of the oldest lands in the world and among the many dishes, one in particular will surprise and excite you, leaving you the memory of a magical holiday in the land of nuraghi, crystal clear sea and ancient traditions.

Simoneta welcomed us into her family home as friends. It was interesting to learn about life in Sardinia. The pasta making was great and I shall try to make some at home. This was a lovely experience and I would highly recommend it.

We had a fabulous night at the pasta cooking class. Simonetta was just lovely, so passionate about her craft and so interesting. The experience is set in her grandparents old cottage in a small village and is so authentic and just gorgeous. We crafted 4 different shaped pastas from which Simonetta created our dinner (plus lots of other food and home made wine). Overall a really enjoyable night.
