Our guide was fantastic and shared fun and relevant history about the area and about the restaurants. We loved understanding how and why the restaurant was started and its relevance to the area.

Christopher was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the history of the town and the various stops on the tour. He was sensitive to our needs as guests and accommodating to the hot weather! I’m giving 3 stars for a couple of reasons. First, the tour itself was listed as including a stop at Hulus Modern Tiki (Hawaiian) which we were most excited about and purposely did not have lunch there in anticipation of dinner. However, the tour guide instead took us to an alternative location with no notice or explanation as to why it changed. The alternative stop was an active bar scene, extremely noisy and we were unable to talk. Also menu was shrimp tacos. Seafood is not liked by all, so would have been good to know in advance. Food was just ok there. Also, the itinerary implied entry to the Museum and Mission but both were only pass-by as they were closed. Also, the order of the food wasn’t logical. We stopped for a malt in the middle, then had more dinner food at the next stop. It would have made more sense to have the malt at the end. The secret stop was also just ok. I also would have preferred to stay in charming Old Town as was described in the tour. :) Would I recommend? Maybe..

A great way to see and learn about Oldtown Scottsdale. Christopher was a fantastic guide and the pace of the tour was great. Also appreciated the time starting at 5pm. Our favorite place was the starting location of Los Olivos Mexican Patio - best overall stop on the tour and would definitely return.

The other 2 walking tours I did in Scottsdale were better. For the same price the others included alcohol/nonalcohol drink samples and this one had 2 desserts - one in the middle and one at the end which I feel is a little bit of a rip off and 2 Mexican dishes which there are so many other variety of foods that was disappointing
