Clients will climb the second tallest volcano in Nicaragua, explore the rich and diverse flora and fauna native to Ometepe, take enchanting photos from various viewpoints and enjoy a light refreshment. The guide will give a brief history of the volcano at the start of the tour and will provide interesting titbits throughout the tour. We provide a fun and interactive experience.

5.00Very nice but also strenuous tour. The wind at the top is crazy. You set your own pace. Sandwich & water were provided to us. Pick-up & return transport worked well.

5.00We had a blast with Eraldo! Young, charming and well behaved guide. The hiking was hard, but worthy. We didn’t have a great view once on the summit because of the weather and the clouds, but still it was amazing!

5.00This hike is VERY challenging, but so rewarding! It is steep, and I did need to use my hands in certain sections as my legs began to tire (still sore 2 days later!). We completed the hike (up & down) in just under 7h with breaks. Donald was a wonderful guide! He was great at keeping me on pace! He also encouraged me to practice my Spanish throughout which was fun! Would absolutely recommend to anyone in good physical condition who is up to the challenge. The top is really spectacular, especially if you are lucky to get a clear view.

5.00If you’re looking for a challenging hike in Ometepe, this is a challenge for you! Donald hiked this route many times and knew how to navigate through to volcano the peak. Prepared with first aid kit, and food. If you’re not fluent in Spanish, he speaks English very well! Highly recommend!

5.00Donald was an excellent guide on our hike up and down Concepión. He did a great job pointing out potential hazards as well as identifying plants, bugs, and animals like monkeys and birds. We hiked with someone who had knee surgery last year. Donald was super patient with us while we navigated the more treacherous and slippery parts of the decent near the summit. We're very thankful we had him on our trek and would recommend him to anyone that wants to conquer Concepión.

5.00Very strenuous, but also very nice hiking tour. A varied landscape and with Donald we had a super guide who not only led us safely up and down, but also told us a lot about the fauna and flora of the Concepcion and interesting facts about the island of Ometepe.

5.00Really cool expérience with Donald our guide which id highly recommend to ask for. Started the trip a 6h50 and were back around 3pm. Make sure you have enough water and good hiking shoes.

5.00The hike to the peak of the volcano Conception was strenuous, to be honest, but absolutely worth it. Even though there was no view from the top due to the clouds (which is most likely to happen), the view from a bit below was quite spectacular. And my personal highlight: My guide Ronald who made this trip absolutely unique and amazing!
