What To Expect

At a calligraphy lesson at your hotel,your English speaking instructors will not only demonstrate the technique but will get you to have a go at writing in Chinese. He will teach you how to use the paper, grind the ink, how to hold the brush and will introduce you to the basic techniques of writing Chinese characters. He can also give you lessons in classical Chinese painting styles and introduce you brush techniques utilised by Chinese masters.
