Amazing experience!! I was on my own and I booked for a shared tour but no body else booked my same trip in low season so they gave me a Boat only for me. I chose 4d3n. Wonderfull. I have seen everything possible: orang utang, hornbill, monkey, ginbbon, varans, proposcis monkey..so exciting!! My guide, Jae, was great, kind and helpfull, very passionate about this job, everyone on that Boat treated me like a queen. The food was absolutely delicious!!! They cleaned the Boat several time per day and it was tidy as a 5 stars hotel. Great crew, great Captain. Everything absolutely perfect. I would have chosen a longer trip!

This trip is fantastic and very much as described. We were a group of 4 adults and one 10-year old. We all loved it. You live completely on the deck of the ship, only the bathroom is below. It’s rustic living, much like camping except you get exceptional Indonesian meals. Our guide was great! Took care of things every step of the way. The night hike was the highlight in addition to the three feeding stations. But honestly, just sitting on lounge chairs and watching nature go by was the real treat. You will see all the animals you want both at the stations and in the trees around you. Know you will be part of a convey of other boats doing all the sane stops as you. All the companies have exactly the same agendas. I will say some of the other boats were slightly bigger and slightly nicer but the quality of our guide made up for it.

We were picked up at the airport by Krisna (our guide) and then transferred by taxi to our boat where we met our captain, his assistant, and our cook. After a hearty breakfast we set sail for a truly outstanding 3 day 2 night experience. We must have seen a minimum of 40 orangutans plus numerous babies, and a minimum of 100 probiscous monkeys, and again 100 long tailed macaques..... No Gibbons sightings, but did hear one singing nearby our camp, along with numerous birds. The night walk was brilliant coming across a few sleeping birds, sleeping bat, creepy crawlies galore and a viper. The food was too much for us, but very tasty. The crew were great at spotting wildlife, and Krisna was extremely knowledgeable on all the wildlife we encountered. The boat was basic and engine a bit smoky when you went down to use the toilet, but the experience was unforgettable for all the right reasons. I was astounded how cheap the private tour package was....£500 total for the two of us. with all food, travel, national Park passes, and 4 people looking after us included. We would definitely recommend this company!!

We have now been to some cool places, but I think this might be the best ever. We saw orangutan, of course, but also probiscus monkeys, a monitor lizard stealing from a fish net, snakes and crocodiles swimming in front of the boat, a tarantula, hornbills, and I'm probably forgetting some! The boat was very comfortable, and our guide was fantastic. We definitely recommend this trip!

This was an incredible trip from start to finish. Picked up from hotel spot on agreed time. Transported to Dock. Tourist/national park police had photograph with us. The journey began.Darmin our guide was excellent, his English was very good. Couldn't fault the crew, curious and very helpful. They were also great at spotting animals and pointing them out and where possible stopping the boat so we could take photos. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife from monitor lizard swimming, long nosed monkeys, maquette monkeys, gibbon, kingfishers, hornbills, numerous spiders, stick insects, squirrels, tree frog, giant forest ants, snakes and best of all the orangutans including 2 completely wild ones. I also went on a night walk through the forest with the guide and a ranger it was a real experience. Food on board the boat could not be faulted (too much for the two of us).

Anyway, I don't give it any less Rating because the Guide and the rest of the crew were very friendly. But the boat was one of the worst without a doubt and they weren't going to warn us of anything... The rest of klotok saw orangutans and many crocodiles from the boat...

We are absolutely thrilled, for us everything was really perfect during this unique experience in Tanjung Puting National Park! Due to international flight delay we had to shorten our planned stay from 4 to 3 days, which was easily possible and we even got our overpaid money back. The whole process of the tour was completely uncomplicated and perfectly organized! The boat was in very well maintained condition, every evening our bed was fixed and the mosquito net stretched. The food was freshly prepared, lovingly arranged, very delicious and more than sufficient. The whole crew of 4 was very helpful and friendly. A big thank you also goes to our guide Dany, who explained a lot and tried to answer all our questions, told us the best spots to watch the wonderful orangutans, also took a lot of time on the night hike and took an extra turn with us to discover special animals. We are completely enthusiastic and very satisfied! It was a unique experience, which we can 100% recommend!
