We have done city cycle tours in a number of cities now, and this was the best. Guide Patrick did a great balance between speaking and riding, which was important on a 2 degree winter’s day. Information was succinct, relevant and delivered with a slight touch of humour. Tour places were stunning.

Very easy bike ride around Oslo with some interesting stops along the way. Guide was very good keeping us altogether and with plenty of interesting bits of information. It was very cold though with fingers losing feeling!

We had a great tour. More uphill climbs than I anticipated but manageable. The winter tires were amazing. I felt more secure on the bike than I did walking.

What a wonderful tour! Shaf is incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the city. In the three hours we spent on this tour, we learned so much about Oslo. I was a bit weary about riding bikes in the snow, but the bikes were well-equipped and very safe. This tour is an absolut must!

We had 2days in Oslo after our trip to Svalbard. I loved the idea of a bike tour but wasn’t sure what to expect given the snow and ice. The meeting point is in a warehouse right next to the DFDS ferry, the signage could be clearer but Josh our guide was visible and waiting for us , was just me and my wife so we ended up with a private tour. Josh , originally from Florida but had been living in Oslo for 11 years was superb with regular stops and super informative he really knew his facts and history and our 3 hour tour flew by. So many fun facts and the city hall home of the Nobel prize presentation was a big bonus. The bikes were perfectly suited to the conditions and the winter tyres with studs gripped very well. We loved Oslo and the 9km tour was fun and Josh was so enthusiastic and interesting , he really sold Norway and made us want to come back again , wonderful country , would highly recommend this tour, suitable for all ages

Josh was an amazing tour guide! There had been fresh snow overnight, but he helped us manoeuvre our way safely. We stopped at key points so Josh could speak and we could learn. We really enjoyed it and was a great way to see some of the city sights! Would recommend :-)

This tour was really cool and a good balance of sightseeing and learning a lot of the history and culture of Oslo and Norway. Josh was an awesome guide and clearly very knowledgeable. The location of the biking company was a little hard to find and some of the members of my group were not excellent cyclists which slowed us down (despite the disclaimer in the booking process that said it was intended for experienced cyclists). Overall though, I would highly recommend this tour. I typically try to do a bike tour in any city I visit and I found the quality and condition of the bikes through Viking Biking to be better than most bike tour companies.
