Seasonal Traditions:
• Winter: Gather around a crackling bonfire to enjoy delicious warm food and freshly made waffles.
• Summer: (April 15 – Sept 15): In respect of the Norwegian seasonal fire ban, we utilize specialized outdoor camping stoves to prepare our food, ensuring a safe and eco-friendly experience without sacrificing the taste.

What To Expect
Meet your licensed local guide and professional chef at Frognerseteren Metro Station, then set off on a scenic forest walk through Norway’s peaceful woodland just outside Oslo. Along the way your guide shares stories about Norwegian nature, culture and gastronomy. You’ll taste a variety of traditional local specialties — from cold plates of lamb, cured trout, venison and other regional delicacies — and enjoy a hot or warm drink, depending of season. The highlight is a cozy camp feast in the forest where you’ll sample hot Scandinavian meats, sip warm drinks, and hear culinary stories around the fire. To finish, get hands-on and make your own Norwegian rømme waffle over the open fire, served with classic toppings like sweet brown cheese. This experience blends nature, culture and food into one memorable outdoor adventure.

5.00Amazing experience! He picked us up right at the metro. He took us on a walk around in nature while giving us a bit of Norwegian history. There is a washroom about halfway on the adventure. The food was absolutely fantastic!

The day before he sent us a message warning of weather complications that could change the route and prepared everything very well so that we did not have to cancel it. The information that the guide tells super interesting and the tour was with a small but very nice group and overall very good atmosphere.
