Vettakollen Viewpoint
Vettakollen is a popular viewpoint in the Oslo forest, only a short hike from the city. From the top, guests will enjoy wide panoramic views over the Oslofjord, the islands, and the city skyline below. On clear days, you can see all the way across the fjord and deep into the surrounding forests. The trail passes through peaceful woodland before opening up to the rocky summit, making it a perfect mix of nature and scenery. Dear Andreas Thank you for giving us such a wonderful hiking experience. You were entertaining, knowledgeable and thoughtful. The walk was a little challenging in the snow, but the shoe spikes and walking poles you supplied made this a whole lot easier. We learned such a lot about the area, about Norwegian culture, myths and legend, and also history. All in an entertaining fashion. You went above and beyond, catering for our daughter's lactose intolerance and the waffles were delicious. I will recommend you to anyone visiting Oslo. Best wishes Sarah

Andreas was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. For a very reasonable price, I learned so much about Norwegian language, culture, and food while on a beautiful scenic hike. He also gave me a great itinerary for the rest of my time in Oslo! As a bonus, he is a chef and very well traveled, so the authentic waffle was delicious, and he can connect with people from various cultures. I highly recommend this experience!

Our guide Viola was adorable and so sweet. She knew all the history and had no problem explaining things repeatedly to different group members. She was so patient and kind. The museum itself was amazing and my husband and I were in awe of the ship and it's history.
