What To Expect
Midhope Castle
First, we travel to the place that needs no introduction “Midhope Castle”, known as Jamie’s lovely home Lallybroch and you’ll get a warmer welcome than he did. The cosy interior of the house has been re-created in the film studios, this is an external visit only. In reality, visitors can’t explore the ruins of the castle but you can sit on the iconic steps of Lallybroch and wait for Jamie or Claire to walk through the beautiful archway in the courtyard. Access to Lallybroch | Midhope Castle is seasonal and access is not guaranteed.
Blackness Castle
The 15th century fortress of Blackness Castle which doubles as the setting for the Fort William headquarters of Black Jack Randall and the heart-wrenching scene of Jamie’s incarceration. With views of the Forth Bridges as a backdrop Blackness Castle is a great opportunity for photos too.

5.00What a fantastic day! We saw multiple spots from the Outlander series and got to tour them and learn about filming, we got many history lessons from William. He really tailored the experience to make sure we were happy. He even stopped at a few extra spots for us to take pictures, such as the William Wallace monument and we were grateful. William was a great tour guide and he was warm and kind. We really enjoyed the fact that the tour was private. Overall, we just really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend!

5.00We had a very cosy trip to lots of Outlander places with this very friendly guy William, who also had lots of humour. All he showed to us was very impressing, without being too much exhausting. While being taken to the places we had time for our own thoughts about what we had seen, but bis answers to all our questions have eben very competent. So we have been very content being taken to this tour. Sabine and Monika
