The Pacaya Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in Guatemala, with a height of approximately 2,500 meters above sea level. The environment is made up of wet forests and rocks. It has stunning views of the Calderas Lagoon which we visit from the seat of our ATVs and three other volcanoes: Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango. On our unique Adventure we will take ATVs from San Vicente Pacaya to various areas near and around the Pacaya Volcano. We will go on various trails to some of the villages located at the base of the volcano, where we are able to hike up the side of the volcano on top of the petrified lava flow as high as you are able to go. Throughout the tour we will be able to admire different views of the volcanoes and drive through some of the villages. We will drive through different off road trails, and we will even take some time to drive on the volcanic sand and lava fields inside of a private plantation.
We DO NOT go to the San Vicente Pacaya National park.

This is an extreme ATVing experience. Be prepared for an intense off roading ride! The guides were awesome. Leo, Pablo, and Amy were awesome and always made sure we were having fun while being safe. I was clenching my cheeks and holding my breath 90% of the ride but it was all worth it. There was a point that was very steep and rocky and I decided to be a passenger princess. Amy is so badass and it was just as much fun. The views are incredible. We saw mountain bikers riding which was crazy. I 100% recommend this tour but prepared to be sore! Also, you’re provided with a sandwich, snacks, Gatorade and approx 1/2 L of water so you really won’t need much unless you want to pack extra.

Really enjoyed the Pacaya Volcano ATV tour. Our guides were terrific! While I wouldn't consider this to be a difficult trek, it's probably best you have some ATV/MC experience as some of the trails are beyond novice in my opinion. You will also want to wear sturdy shoes for hiking across the lava fields. Unfortunately, they failed to provide the promised video/photo link after the tour in spite of my repeated requests and confirmation of my WhatsApp number. For that reason, I cannot recommend them.

A wonderful experience. It was so much fun driving the ATV around the town. It makes you soak the soul of the culture as you drive to the Volcano. The people in the towns are friendly. They wave, smile, and even the kids reach their hands to give you a high five. The Volcano drive is exciting. It is filled with adventure and awe. There are spots where it gets a little wild and can cause your ATV to flip, but the guides do an excellent job to lead and help. In fact, I almost flipped the ATV but I was able to stop it. It damaged the ATV, but the tour was very kind in not charging me the cost The views of the volcano were breathtaking. I highly recommend letting the tour guides take pictures because they did an amazing job taking our pictures. They go out of their way to make the pictures look great. The guides were the best! Leo was friendly, exciting, and very accommodating. I was impressed by their professionalism. They made us feel welcomed. They made sure we were safe. I highly recommend this tour. You cannot miss it!

Super fun way to experience Pacaya. The guides are very safety conscious and keep an eye out for everyone. The lava fields are very interesting. Not as dusty as i expected it to be but a face covering is still a good idea. It was quite a bit cooler up at Pacaya than down in Antigua so take that into account. The "cooked" sandwich was more like warmed but if you are going for the food you are on the wrong trip. Go for the fun and the scenery. They did supply gatorade, water, and a couple of other snacks. Plan on an hour + each way in travel. Fun day and highly recommended.

Fantastic experience, I loved the tour and our guide, Eryk, was 5 stars. I highly recommend. We were lucky to be a small group where everyone could walk and that made all the difference. The beauty of the volcano is from the way there, really worth it.

This was my favourite day in Guatemala. The ATV tour is such an amazing experience, and truly allows you to see the country in the best way. Our guides, Servio and Estuardo were amazing!!!! So helpful, insightful and knowledgeable. They were very accommodating to my friend who wasn't confident on the off-road part and allowed her to piggy -back. Overall, anyone who is on the fence. Book it! Some experience off-roading is helpful, but again the guides are always there if you need help. Even in the pouring rain, there was lots of laughs to be had!
