We stayed at Giuseppe’s place and also went with him to a ceramics workshop. Giuseppe is a wonderful and very friendly person. He told us a lot about Agropoli and the surrounding area. He is very knowledgeable and knows many historical facts, but at the same time he is warm, open and interesting to talk to. We really enjoyed the ceramics shop and the workshop. There are many beautiful and authentic pieces made by a real artist. We had a great time and can truly recommend it.

Giuseppe is the perfect host and guide, I would give him 10 stars, if possible! Kind, knowledgeable, respectful: in the company of Giuseppe and his wife Natasha, we had a terrific day around the majestic temples of Paestum & other coastline attractions. Giuseppe can provide you with many interesting historical details about the region while listening carefully to your wishes and preferences. With Giuseppe, you don’t feel like a tourist but like an old friend and honoured guest. Very highly recommended.

I led a university study tour focusing on Italian agriculture in May 2025. Our group this year consisted of 11 university students and two faculty members. For my programs, I try to provide students with a balanced collection of activities related to agriculture and history/culture. Giuseppe was the perfect guide for our weekend in the Agropoli/Pasteum area, as he has an agricultural background but is also well educated in history and art. He arranged visits for us to two buffalo dairies, where we learned about local agricultural and food production and sampled milk, cheese, yogurt and ice cream at on-farm cafés in Pasteum. We also visited the Greek ruins there, where Giuseppe coordinated a very well-guided tour but also shared his knowledge of art and history with us as well. Giuseppe was a fantastic host for our weekend in Agropoli, arranging local transportation and multiple dinner reservations for our large group. A native of the area, he has many personal connections, and he is well-known in the community. Giuseppe also gave us excellent recommendations for social activities during the evenings and on Saturday, and even gave good advice on how best to travel to nearby Amalfi for some students who chose to spend their free time there. Having used him as a guide twice now, I consider Giuseppe a friend and someone I can count on the next time I return to his part of Italy.

We had a lovely day with Giuseppe at the mozzarella farm with all the buffalo and delicious food! Giuseppe was very kind, accommodating and helpful. He was also very knowledgable about the buffalo farming and gave us lots of interesting information. His price was very reasonable and affordable and well worth the price. The farm itself was a beautiful location and served delicious food and buffalo milk products. I would recommend taking a tour with Giuseppe as he is very flexible and will help tailor your experience to exactly what you want. Thanks Giuseppe, hope to see you again soon!

It was a wonderful experience, being able to do three different and interesting activities within the city is great. Giuseppe was not only our guide, but he also gave us restaurant recommendations and other activities nearby.

  • Excellent, thoughtful guide who knows his way around Cilento and much of Italy.

This was the second time we got to tour with Giuseppe and we returned because our first experience was fantastic. He is a knowledgeable, caring guide who willingly shares stories and insights while attending carefully to the needs of people on his tour. One excursion with him was to a historic monastery. It was so interesting to learn about it. After the tour he suggested a small restaurant in town for lunch which made typical and absolutely delicious food! Giuseppe is smart, kind and conscientious, and we truly look forward to our next adventure with him!

The trip with Giuseppe and his wife was quite wonderful and personal. I learned a lot about the area. The special thing about this day trip is that it is so colorful and versatile - the ceramic workshop, the buffalo farm and Paestum: all in one day. Giuseppe combines everything perfectly and shares his expert knowledge in a very relaxed and cheerful way. I made several trips with Giuseppe during my holiday and found them all super nice. I will definitely come back!

We stayed in one of Guiseppe's apartments in Agropoli and he told us that he is also a tour guide. The tour was varied and exciting, Giuseppe could tell a lot about ceramics, about the history of Agropoli and Paestum and about buffalo. In particular, we found it nice to get an insight into local art and buffalo farming, so to be away from the other tourist places and thus get to know the region better. And we made a very tasty food stop where we ate cake, coffee and ice cream from buffalo milk. We had a very fun and nice day and can highly recommend the tour:).

The farm itself was picturesque, with lush greenery and peaceful surroundings, creating a serene atmosphere. The highlight of the visit was the restaurant, which served delicious dishes made with fresh buffalo milk. Everything from the creamy cheese to the rich yogurt was absolutely delightful. Giuseppe our host and tour guide was truly exceptional. He made the tour informative and engaging, sharing fascinating insights about the buffaloes and the farming process. His enthusiasm and helpfulness made the visit even more enjoyable. It was a memorable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to connect with nature and enjoy some fresh, farm-to-table goodness.
