What To Expect
Pamukkale hot air ballon , gives you the opportunity to fly in a basket with maximum 16/18 people. In practise, that means largest space and a more comfortable experience for all! The flight lasts almost one hour, but it’s subject to the speed of the wind and the weather conditions. From the very first moments, expect to feel goosebumps and adrenaline boosts! Next to you, other colourful balloons create a truly unique image! At the highest altitude, expect to witness a breath-taking scenery. As the sun starts to rise, the warm colours of the light will reflect on the sites below. In fact, as the balloon flies, you can spot many important sites, such as the infamous white travertines, the ancient city of Hierapolis & Pamukkale. After the one-hour flight, the balloon lands safely and smoothly on a field in Pamukkale. Get ready, as a small celebration follows. By the end of this small party, a comfortable vehicle will drive you back at your hotel.

How to Kill Tourism.. Sky-high price, Expensive and Abusive.

4.00The flying experience is beautiful. The price you pay is abusive and in the clouds, at least through Ada Vegas. Unscrupulous this company charges 320 dollars per flight for Cappadocia and 250 dollars for Pamukkale. I estimate it was flying over the number of people allowed. A toast and certificate upon landing, tips float in the air......it's all money.

5.00We came from Cappadocia and we didn't. We thought as an alternative it could be fine and was much better than expected. As the price difference was so great we were somewhat expectant. The experience was great and for a third of the price of Cappadocia. We were picked up at the hotel which is very comfortable. To “kill worm” more than spare. Very happy.

1.00We booked this balloon ride that was run by Unique Ephesus Tours Pamukkale via TripAdvisor two days prior to our anticipated balloon scheduled date of 4 October and, out of the blue, on 3 October, I received an email advising that, "Unfortunately your tour operator for Pamukkale Hot Air Balloon Tours had to cancel your booking." We had a previous balloon booking a few days before in Cappadocia that was also cancelled but for this date we received an explanation that it was the Turkish flight authority that cancelled all balloon trips for our scheduled date due to safety reasons (all balloon trips scheduled for that prior date by all balloon operators were cancelled for that date so we understood). However, this cancellation by Unique Ephesus Tours Pamukkale made no sense to us since flying conditions were excellent and on the morning of 4 October (our scheduled reservation paid date) there were at least 50 balloon operators in the air leaving us high and dry with no clear understanding of what happened to our own reservation that was just arbitrarily cancelled with no clear understanding of why????? This would have been a once in a lifetime experience for me and my family that was missed notwithstanding me having trusted TripAdvisor and this tour company (Pamukkale Hot Air Balloon Tours) with this reservation and travel companies of this type of balloon tour should be aware that when they arbitrarily cancel a reservation (with no valid explanation given), they are denying paying customers of an experience that they are not likely to be able to repeat at another time. When we spoke to another local travel professional in the area, he indicated that he felt that the tour operator probably cancelled our tour because for that date (Oct 4), other operators all sold out their capacity and this tour company (Pamukkale Hot Air Balloon Tours) probably cancelled our reservation to be able to resell our spots for twice the amount that we originally paid for our own booking. EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED AND PI**ED OFF!!!!!!!!!
I don't recommend it. Expensive, they do not comply with the agreement: time and place of collection, time (1/2 hour) rise and fall like cattle.

2.00Pick up service was bad ! Watch out we paid for sunrise sortie and we’re not picked up. I would not use Excursion mania. We were forced to take second sortie and had to wait 2 hours in front of Uyum hotel

5.003 of us from Toronto came. We had a great time. The staff was really what made the experience great They’re so friendly. We loved the driver, the captain and the guys who helped us setup and land. They rotated the balloon really well so no matter where you stood you were able to have a great view. Champagne toast & certificate was a nice touch.
