On our Secret Food Tour: Le Marais Paris, you'll enjoy a variety of classic French street foods starting with a viennoiserie/croissants, and collecting breads, then go and seat to enjoy a classic croque-monsieur in the very restaurant where Jim Morrison spent some of his time in Paris, along with discovering our mystery dish and cheese while enjoying a glass of red and white wine. Visiting Le Marais also means seeing the Jewish street of Paris and tasting some creamy Falafels. Then off to a world of sweetness for some incredible chocolates and colourful macarons, all of this crowned by a dessert to finish with style.
Our tour starts at the bustling heart of Le Marais near the famous rue de Rivoli, one of the main streets of the city. During the tour we will walk the old streets, cross the Place des Vosges and see some of the oldest medieval houses of Paris. You will realise how the locals live in this part of Paris and how the city's history influence has shaped its gastronomy.

Every stop featured delicious food, and we learned so much about French cuisine along the way, along with interesting history about Paris and the neighborhood itself. Our guide, Olivia, couldn’t have been nicer or more informative. She was engaging, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel both relaxed and fun. She truly went above and beyond and was awesome from start to finish. This tour is a wonderful way to experience Le Marais through its food, culture, and stories. Highly recommended!

5.00Gabriel was an excellent guide - very friendly, patient with some members of our group that kept getting distracted taking pictures and falling behind, and super knowledgeable. He shared info about the area, the history, and of course the cuisine, and had lots of recommendations for other places to try too (on top of the ones shown in the tour). We had a great experience and would definitely recommend for an easy afternoon activity.

5.00Kevan was our guide on the Paris Le Marais tour. We started with a delicious pastry while he told us about the history of Le Marais which was fascinating. We then visited a nearby church before starting our walking tour stopping off at a lovely place for Croque Monsieur cheese and wines. We continued our tour to the Jewish quarter where we saw a moving memorial to the children taken to Auschwitz. We then ate Falafel which was delicious. All the while Kevan was very friendly knowledgeable and helpful with all our questions. He was very informative about the history of Paris and in particular the area. We finished off with macarons, chocolate and a little meringue dessert. Thoroughly enjoyable morning. Thank you Kevan!
