We will make 3 types of fresh pasta: fettuccine, ravioli and tortellini. At the end of the making class, we will eat the same, cooked directly by a professional chef. Each participant will prepare their pasta, then we will cook it in the same pot to share it with the rest of the group like an Italian family. The tomato sauce is prepared in advance because it has to cook for about 2 hours. While the sauce for ravioli and tortellini, butter & sage will be prepared in front of you by the teacher. We will, then, serve a dessert (chocolate salami) with limoncello and a booklet that will accompany your pasta future. At the end we offer a wine tasting of wines from our production and you will be able to buy them to ship to your country!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience! The instructor was very sweet, informative, and encouraging. We met some lovely people, from all over the globe, and we all made pasta together in a professional kitchen at the instruction of our very attentive teacher. We made Cappellacci (similar to tortellini, shaped like little "hats" but with a paper-thin, transparent pasta casing) and Fettuccini, each of which had a different sauce. In the end, the chef did the boiling and finishing and two of us volunteers helped serve. Dessert was something wonderful she pre-made - a rolled then sliced chocolate log using crushed biscotti - and was included in the recipe sheet we were given (wonderful!) The red wine was plentiful during lunch, and afterward there was a wine tasting of multiple organic wines from the Pastamania school's affiliated nearby vineyards. We purchased one for that night's "wine & cheese party" back at our Airbnb, along with some other small items (cute pasta fridge magnets, and some nice EVOO. They also have shirts and aprons, etc., in their little store. We recommend this experience; the school is between the bridges Ponte alla Carraia and Ponte Santa Trinita on the Oltrarno side of the Arno, and also has many other types of pasta classes to offer. Very easy to find!
