Learn how to make the famous "Pastel de Nata" from scratch so that you can return home and enjoy the traditional Portuguese pastries totally made by you.
In a group activity, you'll take turns participating while enjoying a local wine in a specially designed kitchen with exceptional hosts experienced in teaching and entertainment.
Our two spaces are centrally located, one near "São Bento Train Station" and "Ribeira", and the other near "Jardim do Morro" and the Port Wine Cellars. If we don't have availability at the location you're looking at, please check with our other location.

Children under the age of 15 are not permitted to participate or accompany customers with reservations.
It is not possible to enter the workshop once it has started. The door will be closed at the scheduled time and entry will not be permitted, given the possibility of rescheduling or obtaining a refund. No exceptions will be made.
Minors (15-17 years old) will not be accepted without being accompanied by an adult.
Only participants with a reservation can enter the space, companions are not allowed, regardless of age.
Not suitable for people intolerant to gluten and lactose

What To Expect
Learn how to make the famous "Pastel de Nata" from scratch, including the dough, so that you can return home and enjoy the traditional Portuguese pastries made by you. While learning how to bake traditional pastries, you can taste a regional wine and learn about Portuguese culture and history. Once ready, it's time to enjoy the learning results with some warm pastries! In this experience, the host will give participants the opportunity to alternately participate in the different phases of making the pastel de nata. Groups can have up to 10 participants. - This is a group activity, not an individual or paired activity. If you want full participation, you must book a private lesson. - The tour starts at the scheduled time, with no exceptions and for logistical reasons it is not possible to join once it has started. - This is a group workshop for adults, not children. Children under 15 are not allowed to join for logistical and safety reasons. Children between 15 and 17 can only participate if accompanied by an adult. - Only participants with a reservation can enter the space, companions are not allowed, regardless of age.

5.00My mother and I took this class with Clara as the instructor in September 2025, and we had a wonderful time! Clara is an excellent instructor who made the class and recipe feel accessible to us, even though we we had limited baking experience. I feel confident that I will be able to make these treats at home again given the guidance that she provided. But, most importantly, the tarts were delicious! This was such a fun morning, and I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys pastel de nata and is visiting Porto.
