Let's visit this historical and cultural place where the quilombos community of Pedra do Sal is located, great samba dancers from the past such as Pixinguinha, Donga etc. gathered. The whole region is a center of valorization of black culture and is part of the so-called Little Africa. Near the samba is the Cais do Valongo (UNESCO World Heritage Site) where it was the largest place of landing and slave trade in Latin America. We will visit Casa do Nando (bar of African origins) and afterwards you will choose your welcome drink and receive the suggestion to taste the best caipirinha in the neighborhood because your guide is a place with full knowledge of the region and we will enjoy the best samba in the city.

I went with Carlos to Pedra do Sal and experienced an amazing authentic samba party, do not miss this place! Carlos is super friendly and knowledgeable about Rio, I definitely recommend him. I was going to go with him to Dois irmãos also but in the end I didn’t have time, I’ve heard that it’s good to go there with a guide because it can be a bit unsafe.
