Ba Thien Hau Temple
Thien Hau Pagoda Located in Ho Chi Minh City’s Chinatown (Chợ Lớn), Thien Hau Pagoda is one of the oldest and most beautiful temples in the city. Dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea, Lady Thien Hau, it’s a sacred place for local Chinese-Vietnamese worshippers. The pagoda is famous for its ornate carvings, spiral incense coils, and peaceful atmosphere — a perfect stop to experience the city’s spiritual and cultural heritage.
The Independence Palace
Independence Palace (Reunification Palace) Located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, the Independence Palace is one of Vietnam’s most historic landmarks. It served as the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. On April 30, 1975, tanks crashed through its gates, marking the end of the war and the reunification of the country. Today, visitors can explore its original rooms, secret bunkers, and war command center — perfectly preserved as they were in the 1970s.

The best day out in Ho Chi Minh City

5.00I contacted Joey based on recommendations from other travellers who had used him before. I was going on a cruise with my son who is a wheelchair user, and we wanted to book a private vehicle to go and visit Ho Chi Minh City. We were picked up by the driver and the guide at the cruise port. They texted me the day before and they were there at the time agreed. The guide had adapted the itinerary for us as many places are not wheelchair accessible. Even walking around the city is difficult as there are a lot of obstacles. The guide really helped us and we found our way around. We visited the market, book street, the post office, had lunch at a lovely vegetarian restaurant which I had requested, went to the war museum and the parliament buildings, and we saw a lot of the city. They then dropped us back to the ship. We had a great day.

5.00Visiting Ho Chi Minh City whilst on a cruise. Absolutely spot on, couldn’t fault anything with this tour. Met us on time, in exactly the right place when we got off the boat. The vehicle was immaculate and super comfortable. We had arranged a few things to do during our 9h trip, our guide was extremely flexible, allowing us to change things and to see more of the urban areas and helping us to see the way of life for the locals. And experience things, including food and seeing how people live, not just the usual tourist museums and attractions. Our driver was brilliant, punctual and left us feeling very safe and secure. Our guide, Jane was fantastic, super friendly, knowledgable and accommodating, and gave us exactly what we wanted, nothing was too much trouble and far exceeded our expectations. Would absolutely recommend HTC Travel as a great option to see Ho Chi Minh City, really good value for money, great communications, reliable and responsive. Thanks to all, especially Jane and our driver, they did an incredible job.

5.00Quinnie our guide for the day, was very helpful and knowledgeable, with a seamless meet and greet, as arranged. We had an action packed day and made the most of our time there. She made sure that we arrived safely back to our cruise ship in good time. Would highly recommend her and the company HTC Travel. Excellent.

5.00We booked this trip with Joey Blackberryman of HTC Travel and would highly recommend them. We were in a group of 16 from the Cruise ship Celebrity Solstice. We were picked up from the Cruise Terminal and it took approximately 1 hr 30 minutes to get to Ho Chi Minh City. Our guide Tien (Harry) was excellent from start to finish, his local knowledge of the culture and history of Vietnam was excellent. We visited Reunification Hall (Independence Hall first. Followed by Central Post Office & Notre Dame Cathedral. After this we were taken for lunch in a local restaurant the food was delicious an assortment of local dishes. After lunch we were treated to a Trishaw ride around the city, everyone agreed that this was a memorable part of our trip as we were taken through the bustling streets 16 Trishaws navigating there way through the streets with all the motorcycles and cars. Harry road along with us on the back of a motorbike and stopped to take pictures of the group along the way which he later sent to everyone by WhatsApp. We then had some free time to visit a local market before finishing the trip at The War Remnants Museum. Then bus back to the port in plenty of time to board our ship. I would personally like to thank Harry our tour guide for a really memorable day he was the perfect guide with his knowledge and he was kind and thoughtful looking after everyone to make sure we all had a great day. 5.00Amazing experience ! Communication with joey when booking was so efficient and friendly. Everything went really smoothly, Tini our guide was lovely, she was friendly and knowledgable, gave us information at every stop and happily answered any questions we had. It was a whistle stop tour but we packed so much in. Will definitely return to Vietnam and would not hesitate to use this company again and I recommend anyone thinking about this tour to book it.

5.00Harry our tour guide was so lovely and very accommodating to our needs. My friend has mobility issues so he custom made our tour so we did not have lots of walking or long stops at places. Picked us up from the cruise terminal great communication with both company head office and driver could not have gone smoother highly recommend this tour.

5.00The tour was fantastic from start to finish. Easy to organise and great communication all through the process. We booked a private tour for two and was a little concerned about the drive. It was fine driver good and the guide Jenny was excellent making the journey pass quickly imparting loads of knowledge about Ho Chi Min City and Vietnam. Also what a place to visit absolutely buzzing. Dont miss and please use this company. Also back to the ship on time others weren't. Great country and lovely people.
