Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong)

Buddhist temples are very important symbols in Thailand, you will witness the unique architecture and experience the culture and traditions of the local people. Wat Chalong (Chalong Temple) is the largest of Phuket temples, and the most visited. The most recent building on the grounds of Wat Chalong is a 60 meters tall 'Chedi' sheltering a splinter of bone from Lord Buddha.

Sao was my guide and the half day tour for Phuket was amazing. Loved the views. The big Buda was the best! And the old town is beautiful

Saw was amazing and very informative. Learned so much . Very sweet mannered and patient. Tried many different foods. Learned how to make papaya salad and explored the amazing Phuket sold Town and shops.

The guide was great and being introduced to regional desserts in Phuket old town was great. However the lunch was a real disappointment and not as advertised. It was at Hanuman world and was a tourist trap buffet definitely not at a "local Thai residents house" as described. For the price of the tour I feel this was a real let down and misleading. All the rest was good and the private guide around the temple and town was a great insite. Also advertised as a 6 hour tour on viator but when picked up advised it was a 5 hour tour.

We had an amazing experience! The guide and driver where wonderful and took us to beautiful place where we could actually get the feel of the Thai culture through the temples, markets and food. The short cooking class was a wonderful experience and the lunch of traditional thai dishes was very tasty. The guide accomodated for all of our needs and also very important these days the team kept everything clean an safe. Thank you very much for a wonderful time!
