Big Buddha Phuket
Phuket Big Buddha, or The Great Buddha of Phuket, is a seated Maravija Buddha statue in Phuket, Thailand. The official name is Phra Phutta Ming Mongkol Akenakiri, shortened to Ming Mongkol Buddha. Sitting atop Nakkerd Hill near Chalong, construction began in 2004
Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong)
The most important of the 29 buddhist temples of Phuket is Wat Chalong or formally Wat Chaiyathararam, located in the Chalong Subdistrict, Mueang Phuket District

5.00This was such a standout experience during my time in Phuket and something I’m genuinely so glad I did! From the very beginning, everything felt incredibly well organised and thoughtful. The communication beforehand was clear and reassuring, and I felt looked after before the tour had even started. On the day, Raboom was truly exceptional. He has such a calm, professional, kind energy and made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. There were moments I felt a bit tired, and he was so accommodating – adjusting the pace, offering options, and making sure I was always comfortable without any pressure. What really sets Raboom apart is how much he genuinely cares and how enjoyable he makes the experience. From helping with my bag, making sure I had water, to checking in throughout the day – it never felt like “just a tour,” it felt personal, considered, and even a little bit luxurious. The locations he took me to were absolutely beautiful and not places I would have easily found on my own. And the PHOTOS… honestly NEXT LEVEL. Some of the BEST photos I’ve ever had taken. Everyone I’ve shown them to has been so impressed – he has an incredible eye and captures everything so naturally. The whole experience felt relaxed, special, and really memorable. I felt safe and completely comfortable as a solo female traveller. If you’re considering a private tour in Phuket, I would absolutely recommend Raboom. The level of care, attention to detail, and overall experience really speaks for itself. I’m genuinely so grateful for this experience – it’s something I’ll remember for a long time. Highly recommend!

5.00This tour was so amazing because of Bessica! The communication was very efficient all along - the guides really cater to what you would like to do and send you information beforehand so you know what to expect. Bessica picked me up with the driver right on time at my hotel at 7:30am. We got to see a lot of Phuket in about 6 hours! Bessica was SO kind and informative of the places we went to. We went to Old Phuket Town, Promthep Cape, Ya Nui Beach, and Karon. Bessica was also the best photographer! Without Bessica, I would not have had such beautiful pictures to last a lifetime. We saw some picturesque places and ended with a delicious lunch of my choosing. Thank you so much, Bessica! The only thing to add is that, for solo travelers, this tour is pretty expensive.

5.00I absolutely recommend this tour with Nick!! They did an amazing job communicating with me beforehand to set up any additional stops on my tour that I wanted. I added the Ma Doo Bua lily pad photo spot and that was superb!! Nick took some amazing pictures everywhere that we stopped throughout the day. He was filled with so much information about every stop and the history of each location. He also took me to the Tiger Park to take pictures with the tigers and a cheetah at the end of my day.
So fun!!
