This is your chance to experience pierogi making class with a local, Warsaw-born host, taste homemade liquors, and get to know more about this city, Poland in general, and places to visit. The activity takes place in the host's apartment with a rooftop terrace that has a unique view of Warsaw Skyline.
There is no better way to get to know local culture than by discussing it with locals in their homes!
Maximum number of participants is ten.
We kindly ask you to arrive on time. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, your class may be cancelled and the payment is non-refundable.

What To Expect
This will be your unique experience with making Pierogi with a beautiful view of the Warsaw skyline! You will have a chance to learn how to prepare the dough and several fillings (ie. sauerkraut with mushrooms, mushrooms, meat, potatoes and cheese, salmon and ricotta, spinach and feta cheese, and some sweet options with seasonal fruits - let me know if you have any allergies or if you have a special diet). All these are accompanied by beverages of your choice: alcoholic and soft drinks. After the preparation part comes well-deserved consumption which may take place on the rooftop terrace or inside depending on the weather and your mood. Our plan is a short introduction with a local choice for starters and a welcome drink. Let's get to know each other before we start this intimate experience of sharing one table and kitchen. Dough preparation. While dough will be resting we will start preparing fillings. Let's make some Pierogi! and combine the dough with a filling. Time to eat, drink chat, and chill - it's time for you. Share your experience, thoughts, and pictures! I can also share some tips on Warsaw's Bars, Restaurants, and must-sees. Please be prepared to have fun!

5.00We had a great time learning how to make pierogis from scratch and tasting the delicious liquors that were handcrafted infused. The intimate setting lent itself to the unique type of experience we were looking for. Our host was gracious and knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning about his culture and family traditions. The pierogis were a delicious bonus!!! Can’t wait to test them out when we get home. Highly recommend this experience!

5.00I highly recommend this experience to anyone curious about making authentic pierogi. Dominik warmly welcomed my daughter and me into his lovely apartment and even offered us a selection of homemade flavored vodka shots. We then moved into the kitchen, working step by step through the process. Together, we prepared three different fillings, each one delicious. Afterward, we sat down to enjoy the meal we had created. We asked Dominik plenty of questions, and he answered every one with patience and enthusiasm. After the class, he sent us a variety of pierogi recipes along with a few photos. It was an excellent evening from start to finish.

5.00What an incredible experience! Dominik was a gracious host and a wonderful teacher. This was such an authentic Polish experience, it brought my dad to tears remembering making pierogis with his grandmother as a child. The appetizers were wonderful, the Polish vodka was delicious and of course o ur pierogis were so yummy. Come hungry!! There are so many pierogis, we couldn’t eat them all. Thanks Dominik, we loved this!!

5.00Dominik is a great host. Very welcoming into his own home, puts you at ease immediately. We started with a charcuterie board of Polish cheeses, cured meats and bread - the origins and history of which were explained. Making of the Pierogi was fun, with plenty of varied filling. Throughout the evening Dominik shared shots of various liquors he’d made himself, which were interesting and delicious, it was nice sharing this experience with other likeminded travellers and hearing about their adventures.

5.00My daughter and I had a 9 hour layover in Warsaw and knew we wanted to do something fun in Warsaw. We came upon this class and I love that we did. Our host was sweet. He opened his home to us and made sure we were very comfortable. Im not much about cooking but he made it so easy and fun. We ate our amazing perogi creations and were treated to delicious drinks. Everything was from Poland and our host was so knowledgeable. It was a great way to spend hours in Poland.

5.00Highly recommend booking this special cooking experience with Dominik. He was a fantastic host and teacher, and it was nice to have a smaller group with a more personalized experience. It was special to get to try so many different fillings, other treats and vodka. We did this at the start of our trip to Warsaw, and it was a fanatic grounding not only in the culinary history but also the pride of the residents of Warsaw and the multitude of places to explore and learn about.
