Our company is with 13 years experience of guiding. We put together this two different experiences bandia wildlife safari, you will be close to different wildlife animals. Pink lake when the color of the water is pink its unique, also you will be able to see how people getting salt in lake.

What To Expect
Reserve De Bandia
We pick you up at your location hotels, guest house, Airbnb, ports, Dakar or Saly. You can select your pickup time between 8:00am to 9:00am the tour is 7 to 8 hours. 1/2 drive from to bandia reserve, 1 hour from Saly. In bandia safari you will switch the regular car to safari 4x4 for the tour, 2 hours there is different wildlife animals it's game reserve. After drive 1/2 hour to pink lake.
Lake Retba
Boat tour in the lake to get better color of the water, to see how people harvesting salt, enjoy around take photos, , it's possible for lunch. Before return or lunch before activities.

5.00super tour organized by our guide Mamadou for 15 days total change of scenery at the rendezvous with the Senegalese with whom we were welcomed. From Lac Rose to St Louis via Lampoul to Cap Skirring we passed through many small typical villages with always guides happy to make us know their countries.

5.00Fab day out - knowledgeable guide at Bandai reserve and saw the most amazing wild animals on safari Pink lake is great but a bit windy today to venture out on it in a boat (our choice) My husband uses a wheelchair and he could do everything but he can climb a few steps it might be difficult if you can’t transfer All in all a fantastic experience

5.00The tour and especially our Tourguide has been very insightful and well organized! The pick up was on time and we went to the bandia resort after a short breakfast stop. At the resort everything went very smooth and we were able to see almost all animals from the park! Afterwards, we went to Lac Rose for an interesting tour to the lake with our boat - very interesting way to experience the locals mining the rich salt from the lake-floor! After a quick local lunch stop we finally were able to drive quads along the Atlantic coast before driving back to Dakar along the scenic Atlantic road. A very well organized day with a super professional company! Can fully recommend! Ps: the only slight disadvantage was the rather expensive price, but these prices seem to be usual in Senegal and considering that Bandia park, the boat tour on Lac Rose, the Quad rides and a driver / Tourguide for the day are included, it seems to be ok!

5.00This was an excellent solo trip. I was so amazed and fascinated about their beautiful culture and many delicious foods and juices. Goree island was astonishing. It was emotional to see what slaves went through. It was powerful for me personally. I was graced with the presence of two extraordinary men. Malang and Abdoulaye who were our guides. Both men were very rich in the culture, history, and overall they took care of me as I walked through the many colorful souvenir stations, where to go to eat, places I might want to come back and visit. Excellent trip I wanna go again in December. The Lake is pink!! I seen it :)

5.00Our guide was Malang he was excellent! Malang not only showed us the various places but offered content, conversations, we met up with different people just as nice as the last person. The restaurant we attended was very good. Awesome trip wanna see more of beautiful Senegal.

1.00BONJOUR, TRIPADVISOR I stopped by the hotel Vaillant Sélestat to find out the room rates, for a future visit of two people. A very bad reception, ( I disturbed? ) the lady with the unkind reception, not a trader, I left I said “goodbye”, I am still waiting for the answer. I wanted to write the room rate for the record, she practically threw the pen on the counter. I wrote on a business card. I prefer to pay more and go to a welcoming place. I live in Alsace. Regards

3.00I would recommend that Viator scrap the Pink Lake from this itinerary. The lake is no longer pink but rather has only a faint pinkish hue. The tour operator proposed bringing us out onto the lake in a very flimsy looking boat, clearly not seaworthy, which we and another couple on the tour declined to do. As there was nothing else to do at the Pink Lake we asked to be taken back to Dakar. I am giving this tour a 3 star rating because Bandia Reserve was very enjoyable and we saw lots of species of animals. It is possible to have lunch at Bandia but we were not given this opportunity because we needed to drive to the Pink Lake. it was an unnecessary long drive between the two. I recommend eliminating the Pink Lake and doing the Bandia Reserve as a half day tour + lunch. If environmental issues change and the lake is once again, pink, perhaps the Pink Lake can be reinstated in your itinerary.

4.00It was a very good experience to go on a safari and see all the wild life around the Bandia reserve. We did not have enough time to have a boat ride in the Pink lake since we had to go to the airport for our return trip. Our guide Lay Bayal was excellent so was the driver. As a seven hour tour it could have been nice to have a sandwich or fresh fruit and cold drinks available, since there was not time to go to a restaurant in the middle of the tour. I give it a four star.

1.00Our guide Yo-to was great but the pink lake is no longer pink and 1) we were unable to go and 2) we should have been notified well in advance as opposed to 1hr into the tour. I want a refund. Terrible experience.
