Great Tour! It was a cloudy, rainy day, so difficult to see crater of volcano, but someone in our group did catch her some nice pictures of fumeroles. On the 1st coffee tour we learned about coffee propagation and it was super interesting. The plantation was beautiful. The second coffee tour taught us about coffee processing. We shared processing coffee beans, from the shelling the beans, to roasting, to brew that was served to us. It was delicious and very strong! The lunch that was served at the restaurant we stopped at was yummy and the La Paz waterfall was stunning. We even got to see a sloth on the way back down the mountain. Our tour guide, Rick, was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a long day, just over 10 hours, including transportation, but it was well worth it!

Everything was great. Easy communication with tour company, timely activities, fun time. Ricardo was an outstanding tour guide. He did everything possible to ensure our group had a great experience. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, always making sure everyone received the care and information they needed. I highly recommend Ricardo as a guide and your company as organizer.

Great trip, Ricardo was knowledgeable and worked hard to ensure the trip was memorable. He showed us how to pick ripe coffee beans and the roasting process. The hike to the volcano is a workout and do not recommend for anyone that is out of shape. I always enjoy a good workout! The view was challenging; there was a mist covering the volcano and lake, so we waited a bit for it to clear. The waterfall is impressive too. Lunch was very good too. In case it matters, the tour is an all-day event, we left at 8am and returned at 5:30. It was a great time!!

Carlos was an engaging and enjoyable guide. I appreciated that the group was small and we all got to know each other and connect as fellow travelers. The coffee tour was especially interesting, certainly the only cup I’ve had that was roasted, ground, and brewed specifically for the group! The weather was challenging but can’t really control that. The lunch was okay, a bit late after some traffic delays (it’s Costa Rica after all, Pure Vida!) but that was really minor in the grand scheme of things. All in all a great day and highly recommend the tour.
