What To Expect
Archaeological Park of Pompeii
You'll meet your guide in front of the entrance of Porta Marina inferiore and she will eventually help you to buy the ticket or to stop at the restrooms. Once inside the ruins the guide will stop to explain the history of the archeological site of Pompei and about the eruption and then you'll have a walk with her in the most peaceful moment of the day, when most of the tourist has gone and the light is changing and becoming softer. We have the chance at this time to see the most important building without line and with calm.

5.00We booked a 2-hour tour of Pompei with Paola who was an amazing guide! She spoke italian, english and greek which was super convenient for our 15 people group. Paola is very knowledgable, friendly, and a great communicator. Would definitely book one of her tours again - highly recommend!

5.00We asked Paola for a long lasting tour and she did her best! Everyone was so pleased to have found her! Even better she was speaking Greek and as we are Greeks the tour was even simpler. She was an amazing person, lots of knowledge, very analytical, very polite person with a great personality. Never got tired of us asking questions and the experience was truly the best! 5.00Our time with Paola convinced me and my father that we can never again go sightseeing without a deeply educated expert guide like Paola. She enriched the experience 1000%. There may be other guides like her, but I doubt there are any that bring more to the table in terms of friendliness, passion, knowledge, humor, and customer service. Book her now. Oh and in case you suspect I may be a bot: I think that Italian hotels have the most confusing light switch schemes I have ever used. Why oh why must they be like this. (Only a fellow human would know this.)
