Amazing day out with the little one. It is well worth the 41 euros tickets for our family of 3 which gets you so many things besides just the entry. The actors were great and friendly. Even got to see Santa! While this place is probably most appropriate if you have children, adults would also enjoy a touch of nostalgia if you grew up watching popeye and enjoy the breathtaking views of the bay whist on site. For those who do not want to pay to enter the site, you can drive a few yards up the road snd park on top of the cliff where you can see the site and hear all the action from afar but you’ll be missing out on the fun of course. We cannot comment on the food at the cafe and restaurant as we did not consume any. But would recommend the Apple’s Eye about 15min drive down south with lovely food not so busy and fantastic views.

We visited Popeye Village as a family of four (two adults and two children aged 5 and 9) and had a really enjoyable day. Getting there was easy: we used Uber from Gżira and paid around €15, which was very convenient, especially with kids. The village is a lovely attraction, very well maintained and full of play and entertainment areas for children. There are many activities to keep them engaged, and the shows and live entertainment were particularly nice and interactive, with enthusiastic animators who really involved the kids. At the entrance, you receive vouchers for a free postcard and complimentary popcorn, which was a nice touch and immediately put the children in a good mood. Food prices inside the park are reasonable and fair for a tourist attraction. We also enjoyed the mini golf area, which is small but fun, and there is a nice little playground area right next to the entrance, perfect for younger children or a short play before leaving. Overall, it’s a charming and family-friendly attraction that we would definitely recommend to families visiting Malta with children.

A really fun place to visit. The whole village feels like stepping onto a movie set, with colorful houses, playful activities, and great spots for photos. It’s a light-hearted attraction that works for both kids and adults. The views around the bay are fantastic as well. Definitely worth stopping by for a couple of hours of pure, simple fun.

Absolutely fantastic from minute 1 as a huge Popeye fan and holidaying in Malta this wasn't going to be missed. The beautiful scenery and preservation of original sets and scenery is fantastic. The live actors and entertainment was brilliant and every single character actor did such a good job. Definitely a must do when visiting Malta

Cute place , staff clearly love it and are super nice and engaging. Some buildings need a bit of TLC and look quite bad. Not too crowded but we did go in November. I imagine in the summer it's a nightmare to walk around. Spent only about an hour maybe two exploring. The water looks absolutely beautiful and you can swimm in it, but ... you probabbly wouldn't want to. Full of bags bottles and broken plastic just waiting to cut someone and get infected. Gross , as staff work there maybe they could try nad preserve this beautiful place?

Popeye Village looks decent at first sight, but my experience at the restaurant was genuinely shocking. I have never felt threatened by a manager in any restaurant before, yet that is exactly what happened here. We wanted to return a €22 burger because the meat was rubbery and tasteless and the cheese was not even cooked. For that price, you would at least expect something edible, but the quality was extremely poor. I understand that theme park food is not usually high end, but this was nowhere near reasonable quality. When we raised the issue, the staff members we first spoke to were understanding. Unfortunately, the manager was the complete opposite. He approached us aggressively, immediately hostile, took a fork and knife, tasted the food himself, and insisted nothing was wrong. I was never rude or confrontational. I simply asked for some form of compensation, yet he refused to accept any complaint and continued to behave in a threatening and unprofessional manner. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service. Do not go here, and especially do not eat here. If you are dissatisfied with your food, you might end up feeling intimidated instead of helped.

We visited in November, the first thing you see and hear is the ‘films’ being made. The actors seemed very thorough, professional and well versed. The village itself was an enjoyable little stroll, I can imagine it being mobbed in the summer. A great place for having a dip too, it’s a beautiful little cove. The big let down, the food. We ordered two noodle bowls, one beef one chicken. The beef was borderline passable, the chicken was borderline dog food, absolutely vile and @ €15 to be thrown straight into the bin I felt a bit cheated.

Amazing experience in The Popeye village. The staff were so welcoming. They danced and chatted with our little girl who was delighted! There are shows throughout the day and they encourage audience participation. I would highly recommend volunteering to be part of the Popeye film. You are then able to view the film in the cinema afterwards and can purchase it to view at home, its a lot of fun and was the highlight for us all.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Absolutely phenomenal experience and something to do at every corner. From the traditional games, to the activities with the cast (who are amazing) we could have spent the whole day here with our 5 year old - but we only planned for the morning. Rose in particular was incredibly nice to me and my baby, she made his experience 10/10 by her genuinely happy and kind attitude. Olive Oyl was equally amazing to my oldest son, and he is very convinced they are friends! And finally Bluto… who my son is completely convinced is a thief and a ‘baddie’ who he has convinced to change his ways. There was shows, parades and something to do at every turn. One of the best attractions I have ever been to. What a brilliant experience and a wonderful cast, would absolutely reccomend to anyone visiting Malta! We will be back
