Stollmeyer’s Castle, also called “Killarney”, is one of seven striking mansions that make up the Magnificant Seven and is actually the first of them to be constructed. It was built for entrepreneur Charles Stollmeyer in 1904 by Scotsman Robert Gillies who found inspiration in the Balmoral Castle of Scotland.
Then it's onto a Drive Through the Northern Range Rainforest ...Hungry don't worry as lunch is the Bake n Shark sandwich served on the Beach of Maracas Bay (Guest is responsible for their food expenses), an Hour or two at the Bay Should aid Digestion.Take a Swim or just relax... as we return to the Ship .So get some friends to try this Trip with you.

5.00Mitch, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, mature, responsible, and kind. He did a great job addressing our questions as he showed us the sights around Port of Spain, then took us up to Maraval and Maracas Bay and back again. While only so much customization of a tour can reasonably be expected, we could tell that he was responding to our interests and preferences in terms of the things he showed us along the way as he listened to our questions and comments. It was also helpful that he kept us up to date and engaged ahead of the tour via WhatsApp. Mitch made us feel safe and cared for, and he made the tour a lot of fun!

5.00We had a very nice time on this tour, we ended up in Caracas for a few hours on the beach. Many people on the ship with us did not get off due to government warnings and fear of not being safe. Don’t be afraid, be sensible. If you are on a tour they will not take you to any dangerous areas. The city is clean and the people we could see seemed to be dressed professionally, as if they were heading to work. We did not see any sketchy people or activity. We asked our tour guide about people’s concerns about their safety. He said there are “bad” areas of the city and if you avoid them it’s fine. I recommend this tour.

5.00Attentive staff, engaging , caring , explanations in detail and depth of history , everything coupled with such great hospitality made it an amazing experience. I just walked up to mitc by chance and had a lovely day and he was kind enough to let me hang with him, introduced me to his lovely family and this team goes out of their way to show you Trinidad and wanting more ! Highly recommend.

5.00This was offered on our tour and no one knew what it was. We found out on our tour. We also walked the city, heard the history, visited 2 beaches and had Shark n Bake at Richard's. We ate outside while watching the waves and had the best fish sandwich EVER. The fish is amazing and the (bake) is homemade bread. You get your sandwich and go to a buffet of toppings to decorate your own dish. It is so good.....I'm going back!
