Excellent first class to kick off learning Hindi, the market is cool to walk around and the parathas are great but the instructors are the best part of the experience!

Nothing connects cultures better than personal interaction and language learning! Stephen and team guide you through some simple strategies for language acquisition and then take you out to interact face to face with locals as you put the lesson into practice. It is a great little program that is well worth the time, effort, and minimal cost.

What an amazing experience! Thank you so much for introducing me not only to the language, but to the culture as well, it made such a great impact on the rest of my trip! Highly recommended! Definitely the best in class!

Stephen and the other guides were very knowledgeable and kind. I learned about Delhi culture, key phrases in Hindi, and tasted some delicious food. The highlights of the day were seeing a street monkey and eating delicious paratha!

It was a delight to learn how to speak some Hindi at the start of our trip. In this way, we were better prepared to engage with people as we traveled.

It was an amazing experience to learn Hindi from a sweet and very patient lady. It took me quite a few tries to get some of the words right but the teacher was so patient. Then I got to practice it right on the street there and got to try street food using my newly learned Hindi. Wish I could done more than one day of it. The emersive experience while having a guide through the noisy markets allowed me to learn and the teachings to stick. Making it an unforgettable experience.

I was so thankful to do the culture walk because it allowed me to experience some every day moments (buying paratha from a trusted street vendor and having chai!!!) All our questions were welcomed as we were encouraged to embrace the discomfort of language learning and misunderstood cultural moments and try anyway! The day was a highlight of the week for sure.

My group had such an incredible time learning some survival Hindi and heaps about local culture. We did this culture walk at the beginning of our trip and it came in handy the rest of the time we were in India. I loved watching our group get to use greetings and questions in the markets (“what is this?” and “how much is that?”) like locals. 10/10 recommend!

Our guides Stephen and Vishna, were fantastic! We learnt so much which gave us all confidence to explore more of what India has to offer. We especially liked ordering some authentic Indian cuisine after our first trip in an ‘auto’ motorised rickshaw. 🛺
