Small goups. Big flavours. Real stories. The original Prague food tour by Taste of Prague since 2011, recommended by the NYT. The idea is simple: take you to places you would not have found, order delicious, authentic dishes and drinks you would not have ordered. And tell you things you didn't know you should google.
We run this on empathy. We know how precious your vacation time is, so we will not waste it on second-rate food or experience. We will treat your vacation and trip to Prague as if it were our own.
So if you want to spend a few hours in the company of well-traveled locals who will serve you must-try foods and drinks and will not resort to tourist clichés because simply our conscience would not let us (and our Czech friends would eat us alive for it), we'll be happy to have you.
(Please inform us of your allergies and dietary restrictions in due time. Thank you!)

Charles Bridge
Just kidding. You will not be seeing the Charles Bridge. No authentic food around it! (Okay, with one exception, but that's it!)
Wenceslas Square
Where social change happens. This avenue is central to Czech history, past and present. We will be finishing the tour very nearby.
Locally roasted specialty coffee is served at the end of the tour. You'll need it.
All Fees and Taxes
Water is available in every stop on the tour. Bottled water is provided on hot days.
The tour includes many tastings across several restaurants, which constitute a big meal. Although appetites can vary, most people cancel their dinner reservations after the tour if they have any.
One local drink per stop. (And we have non-alcoholic options, too.)
Non-alcoholic options are available if you'd like to skip on alcohol. But then again, why would you? You're on vacation, right?
We're easy. Just ask. Sure, we'll hold your baby. Yes, we'll make that reservation. Etc.
The tour includes many tastings across several restaurants, which constitute a big meal. Although appetites can vary, most people leave the tour full and satisfied. Perhaps feeling a bit guilty.
We're proud of the local things we serve. Your foreign cravings will not be included in the price.

Great tour. Eat only where the locals eat. The tastings of food, wine and beer were very good. The history lesson and passion shown by our guide Jan was also a plus.

Our tour guide, Jan, was very accommodating to our milk allergy. He made sure we had a safe local dish at each stop. The food was really good. But what we enjoyed the most were his stories of growing up in Prague. Definitely highly recommended

Amazing tour! Our guide, Jan, was very knowledgeable, and funny. He had everything prepared for all of the subway and streetcar rides, we didnt have to do a thing. The 4 hours fly by when you have good food, drinks, and conversations.

We chose the food tour as an introduction to our Prague trip - it was a real highlight of our trip! Our very friendly tour guide Jan introduced us to various great specialties and provided us with information about their history and the history of the Czech Republic, as well as with other tips for restaurants he considers recommended. We tried these over the next few days and found his hints priceless. Because of my birthday Jan even bought me a special cocktail - Jan was just completely attentive and gracious. The other participants were also very friendly. It was really fun, everyone talked a bit about themselves and it was a very cheerful, pleasant group. We recommended this food tour to all friends - it was just fantastic. Thank you for this great experience!

Karolina was an amazing host, she took fantastic care of everyone on the tour, and took plenty of time explaining each of the dishes and drinks we consumed as well as sprinkling in some fascinating Czech history viewed through the lens of the food. We left the tour both very full and happy but also more knowledgable than we joined it. We had a slightly smaller group than capacity (8 people) so the tour took 3ish hours but I'd allow up to 4 hours in case your group is fully booked. We got to try so much Czech food from pub fare to traditional sandwiches (these were so good), to fine-dining and finished off with some delightful desserts in the oldest Café in Prague. We also got to try a few different types of beer and Czech wine which made for great accompaniments for the food. We did the afternoon tour and definitely did not need to eat again until much later in the day, so bear this in mind when booking. Lastly Karolina very kindly followed up with lots of helpful information (including a guide book) over email so if you can fit this in ealrier to your trip then it's a great way to do things. That said we did it on our last full day and it was still amazing so don't let it put you off if you can't.
