Robben Island Museum

Start your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Cape Town and head to the Silo District. Meet a former political prisoner and be taken to the Nelson Mandela Gateway. Upon arrival at Robben Island Museum, be greeted by a former political prisoner and given a tour. Begin with a bus ride around the island, followed by a visit to Nelson Mandela's jail cell and the long trek to freedom. After returning to the mainland, enjoy some free time at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront to do some shopping or grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants.
