All three wine farms we visited (Steenberg, Klein Constantia and Groot Constantia) were fantastic. and our tour guide (Meighan) was the best - very knowledgeable, kind and considerate.

I was fortunate to experience a day of wine tasting in the picturesque Constantia area of Cape Town, South Africa. The day commenced with a sophisticated tasting at the luxurious Steenberg estate. The tasting featured a Flagship and a Bubbly, both exceptional. The vineyard and tasting facilities were truly spectacular. Later, we arrived at Klein Constantia for a three-course lunch pairing. The tomato salad was delicious with pesto, walnuts, mozzarella cheese, micro greens, basil and mint. I also enjoyed the Cape Malay Curry tofu for a main course. The chocolate dessert was the best I have had on this trip. Our adventure concluded with a final tasting at Groot Constantia. Our guide, Meaghan, was outstanding for her wine, vineyard, history, and community knowledge. We laughed, learned, and were enlightened! You can see photos and a reel at Life-designs on Facebook

Wow - I had a truly great time and learned so much from Kim and George during the 3 days we did this tour. They tailored our 3 days out to our needs/wants, the wines they chose were excellent, the wineries beautiful (the 4x4 part was very unique!) and despite wine collecting for 17 years, I came out with so much more knowledge on this area of the world and it’s wines.

We had a fabulous day with Blake who took us to 3 vineyards, Steenberg, Buitenverwachting and Klein Constantia - the icing on the cake being lunch at Klein Constantia, the 4x4 and mcc wine tasting and the personalised cellar tour. Well worth doing.
