Abudhabi grand mosque The mosque's architect Yusef Abdelki took inspiration from a number of sources: the Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque in Alexandria The carpet in the hall is considered to be the world's largest carpet made by Iran's Carpet Company and designed by Iranian artist Ali Khaliqi 1- On of the Largest mosque in the world 2- Marble arts 3- The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque has seven imported chandeliers 4- The 96 columns in the main prayer hall are clad with marble and inlaid with mother of pearl, one of the few places where one can see this craftsmanship 5- The 99 names (qualities or attributes) of God (Allah) are featured on the Qibla wall in traditional Kufic calligraphy, designed by the prominent UAE calligrapher — Mohammed Mandi Al Tamimi 6- The mosque is large enough to accommodate over 40,100 worshippers, while the main prayer hall can hold over 7,000. There are two smaller prayer halls, with a capacity of 1,500 each, one of which is the women's prayer hall

5.00Our day trip to Abu Dhabi went perfectly! Our guide Muhammed has guided us very well. Besides the recorded sights we also visited a super beautiful Louvre museum! Definitely worth it! We had an unforgettable day with the very sympathetic Muhammed! Definitely recommended if you want more than just to see Dubai.

5.00We made the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque Tour from Dubai. Usman was a great driver with a lot of knowledge of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the life, habits and politics of the people. We had some very interesting conversations and when we fell asleep driving back to Dubai (in the very comfortable car), he quietly and safely drove us back. Great experience and great driver! Thank you Usman. The mosque itself was absolutely stunning and beautiful. Worth to see it for sure!

The beauty of the mosque 🕌 in both daylight & nighttime lighting is beyond words - truly an amazing sight 👌🏻 Mariam, our tour coordinator, explained the mosque manners thoroughly and helped us take the Grand Mosque access pass. Their knowledgeable guide is always available to answer any questions without hesitation. The entire journey, from pick-up to drop-off, was in an exclusive air-conditioned SUV, ensuring our comfort throughout the tour. We opted for the evening time slot, allowing us to experience both the daytime & nighttime views of the mosque.

5.00What a majestic architecture it is… If you love architecture like me, then it’s a must visit place for sure. Our trip was well coordinated by Maryam. She communicated everything in advance and even helped us to take grand mosque access pass. Usman was a fantastic guide. He explained so many things on our way to Abudabhi. The mosque was a piece of art itself. Every nook and corner is beautifully carved. Every frame is filled with luxury. The carpet, Chandeliers, windows, Pillars and doors was phenomenally perfect. We enjoyed everything.

Communication beforehand by Mariam helped a lot and even arranged the access pass for the Grand Mosque. Overall, it was a GREAT Experience. Thank you Usman🤝.
