Your guide will take you to the Shankill area an area steeped in Protestant British heritage and culture learn how the people suffered during the conflict see murals and wall art unique to the Shankill area here stories about our most recent past see murals of people from the local area seen as great hero’s
Peace Wall
You will then travel to one of many peace walls that separates two communities that have been in existence for over 50 years listen to how and when and who built the wall unfortunately still necessary today

5.00I highly recommend this black cab tour. You get to visit several key murals and the peace wall, but more importantly, you hear from John who shares his personal experience of living in Belfast during “the Troubles”. I was deeply moved by this tour and John’s knowledge and kindness. Hearing the history from someone who was here for it is imperative. If you visit Belfast, take this tour.

5.00John Mc did a brilliant job on Saturday 21st last. There were four of us together & we all really enjoyed ourselves and were educated so much more. Great to get the in depth grass roots story and delivered with true factual passion. Highly recommended.

Our guide John was brilliant – very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city. He really did make the whole experience more interesting, what a top man! 5.00What a great tour we went with an open mind having heard about the troubles in the 60/70s as kids from the news on a UK telly. Our guide John was both honest and balanced he was very knowledgeable about the history of Ireland and gave us an in-depth explanation of both areas and answered our questions without prejudice. His personal account was fascinating and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour we would highly recommend it and when you have the famous Irish humour thrown in a great way to spend an afternoon.
