What To Expect
Visit Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins colony!
Table Mountain Aerial Cableway
Pick up at 8:30am at your hotel and travel to Table Mountain cableway station to take the Cable Car to the top of the mountain for a guided tour. Table Mountain is one of Cape Town's most iconic attractions and it is little wonder why it is called one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Where else in the world can you find a mountain in the middle of a City.
Duiker Island
Take a boat to Seal (Duiker) Island from Hout Bay Harbour and see the Cape Fur Seals. Note that this excursion is optional and weather dependant.
Chapman's Peak Drive
We take a drive along Chapman's Peak, one of the most scenic roads in the world. We stop at the viewpoint for a photo opportunity and some amazing sightseeing. Note that a drive through this spectacular route depends on whether it is operational.
Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
Visit the African Penguins colony at Boulder's Beach. Take a walk on the boardwalk and you will soon see why it is impossible not to love these enchanting sea creatures, frolicking along Boulder's Beach, Simon's Town. An optional lunch stop for your own account can be enjoyed at one of the nearby restaurants. Please advise whether we can assist with a booking.
Just Nuisance
Meet the monument of Just Nuisance, the Great Dane dog who made a name for himself in the South African Navy situated in Simon's Town, and hear more about his amazing story.
Cape of Good Hope
Arriving in the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve, we explore the Dias Cross, some fauna and flora and see the meeting point of the 2 currents namely the cold Benguela Current and the warm Agulhas Current. You may also encounter some baboons and other wildlife.
Cape Point
Take an optional Flying Dutchman Funicular to the Cape Point Lighthouse or you may choose to take a hike to the lighthouse instead. This is an easy walk an a minimal fitness level is required. Please note that should you wish to take the Funicular, this will be for your own account.
Muizenberg Beach
Our return route is via the Old Cape Road passing the coloured houses in Muizenberg Beach. Guests will be dropped off at their accommodation after the tour at approximately 18:00pm.
Robben Island boat trip & museum tour & Stellenbosch Wine Route
Robben Island Museum
Guests will be picked up at their accommodation at 8:00am and transferred to the ferry departure point at the Nelson Mandela Gateway in the V & A Waterfront. The tour guide/driver will not be accompanying the guests on the boat or at the island as there will be a sight guide on the island who will give them a guided tour. At 9:00am, board the ferry boat to set sail to Robben Island. The entire tour takes up to 3.5 hours including ferry journey times. Upon reaching the island, disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbour and take a brief walk to the bus that will transport you around the island. A former political prisoner will give you a site tour, including a viewing of Nelson Mandela’s cell. Between 12:30 and 13:00pm, guests will return to the Clocktower Precinct at the V&A Waterfront, where they will met by their tour guide/driver.
Bo-kaap
We embark on a drive-by City Tour and begin in the heart of the city in Adderley street where you will view historical monuments like Bartholomew Dias, Jan van Riebeeck and Zackarias Waganaer Reservoir. Thereafter see some heritage museums like the Slave Lodge and Cape Castle. View the City Hall and the Company Gardens and proceed past the House of Parliament. Stop at the Bokaap where you will see the famous Colourful houses in the Cape Quarter and stop to take some photos and greet the locals if they are in sight.

5.00Our tour guide Ruben was outstanding taking the time to explain so many things throughout the trip. Our tour group consisted of our family ages 9 to 64 so there was a wide range of questions which Ruben answered patiently and completely also looking for ways to make our tour extra special. Ruben was very easy to understand to our United States group which has presented in past with some tours. The sights were outstanding. We were unable to visit Robbens Island because of its closure Ruben took our group to the prison from which Mandela was released. Great trip for a family of all ages. Spectacular photo opportunities. I would definitely request Ruben if he is available.

5.00This was a perfect way of seeing and learning about the key areas and politics around Cape Town and South Africa. The private tour was just us and the very experienced guide, Alex. He was lovely and everyone seemed to know him. He was very flexible and even helped with bartering when getting some souvenirs. He chose lovely places for lunch.

5.00It was all amazing. It is important to ensure that you have tickets purchased for Table Mountain before you arrive. The tour guide asked if we had tickets, and we said yea without reading to fine print. Our guide, Seifu was very accommodating, especially to my sister who had leg room.

5.00David was an excellent tour guide. He managed weather related change of plans in our itinerary without missing a beat. The order of our sites changed but we still saw everything we had been promised & planned to see. He answered all of our questions, directed us to good places to eat when we stopped for lunch, took pictures so we have family shots. In many cases we were able to skip lines or wait in shorter ones for attractions. It was our first ever private local tour & we will definitely look into this option in the future. No way we could have fit all of these sites into 2 days on our own & this tour allowed us to get the most out of our time in Cape Town!
