Private Tour

This is a fully private 6-day journey through Transylvania designed for travelers who want to see Romania in a meaningful, comfortable way, without the rushed “tour bus” feeling.
Instead of following a fixed group schedule, you travel with your own dedicated guide and vehicle, so each day can adjust naturally to your pace - more time where you’re enjoying it, fewer crowds when possible, and breaks whenever you feel like a coffee or a photo stop. We combine the iconic castles (Peleș, Bran, Corvin) with places that add real depth: UNESCO villages and fortified churches, walkable medieval towns (Brașov, Sighișoara, Sibiu), plus a home-hosted lunch in Viscri and a wine tasting and farm-to-table meal at a historic estate.
Most importantly, we handle the details that make Romania feel easy from abroad: thoughtful route design, realistic timings, and clear guidance - so you can relax and enjoy the experience, not manage logistics.

Peles Castle
You’ll tour the castle’s spectacular interior rooms (when open), known for their carved woodwork, stained glass, and richly decorated halls that feel more like an art gallery than a palace. Your guide will share the real history behind the building, the royal family, and the details most visitors miss - from the castle’s hidden conveniences to the symbolism in its design. Outside, you’ll have time to enjoy the mountain setting in Sinaia: forest air, elegant terraces, and great photo spots around the castle grounds. We keep the visit comfortable and unhurried, with time for a coffee nearby if you’d like.
Brasov
Walk through one of Romania’s prettiest medieval towns with your private guide. You explore the main square, historic streets, and the city’s Saxon heritage, with time for photos, a coffee stop, and local recommendations. The pace is comfortable and flexible.

Nic was an outstanding guide for our first visit to Bucharest. Along with another couple we were traveling with, we booked this day-long excursion prior to a high-end 12 day river cruise, and Nic’s excursion was better than many that followed. We got a insightful overview of the city, visiting several of the highlights and enjoyed walking along with an engaging and knowledgeable host/guide. I highly recommend this tour, and also recommend you request Nic.

I visited Bucharest for the first time with my husband and we only had a few days. I booked this walking tour with the hopes of seeing the city and learning some history of the city. The tour went above and beyond. Bogdan emailed us a few days before we arrived with some tips for getting around the city. Our guide Chip was wonderful. He met us at the hotel and was very enthusiastic about the day which made us more excited as well. Chip is extremely knowledgable and gave us so much interesting information throughout the day. He loves his job and it shows and to us that made the tour even better. He asked us about our interests and what we wanted to see during the tour and totally catered to our interests during the day. I love architecture and so we looked at all kinds of different buildings and I also love chocolate and we ended the day at an eclair place (the eclairs were delicious). The village museum we went to was really cool and we spent quite a bit of time there. We had a great day with Chip and I would highly recommend booking tours through them. They also do tours to Transylvania which I will definitely book with Bogdan and Chip when I come back!

Bogdan is an outstanding Budapest tour guide. He gave us a wonderful understanding of Bucharest, Romania and its people's history. He took us to see the sights around the city. Bogdan is extremely knowledgeable and a caring fine young man. Highly recommend this tour!

What a great tour. I only had one day in the city and this was a great way of seeing everything. My guide was great and very knowledgeable and planned everything with me before hand to make sure we covered all of the sites that I wanted to see, even helping me with a few hints for my rival too. Would recommend this tour
