What To Expect
Omaha Beach
The most famous and most difficult of the five D-day beaches. It took the highest casualties, due in particular to its topography: it was the only beach with high ground just beyond. The Normandy American Cemetery is the final resting place for 9.387 Americans.

5.00We had an amazing custom tour arranged for us of the Normandy beaches and memorials. The focus was on Juno and the Canadian history however our guide ( Adrian) was able the quickly adjust and accommodate a request to cover Omaha beach in our time frame. The guide Adrian was extremely knowledgeable and provided many insights on the strategies of both sides ( allies and Germans). Our driver Alain, was an excellent drive, he was on time and was quick to respond to me on the day of our arrival to arrange a meeting place. Maya was also very helpful and answered my many questions before the tour. I would highly recommend Tour Travel and More especially for personalized tours! Thank you agin for making our experience so memorable!

5.00Dominque was our guide for the day, and she was great!! She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The landing beaches are very important places to visit, and seeing and experiencing them is something I hope everyone is able to do. Dominque really brought the difficulty of the day to life in a way that no movie, picture or book could possibly do. We learned so much, and greatly appreciated the time she spent with us. Just an aside, we were picked up at the cruise port in Le Havre. Our driver was on time and courteous. He didn’t speak any English. Not a complaint….just want people to be aware that your driver may not have any English. His name was Bruce, and I loved the way he drove!
