Hitler's Eagle Nest does not open till May 8th in 2025. Tour Guide never reach out to let us know that our plan would not be available. The driver is just that. He drives you around like Uber or a Taxi. Very little to no information about Bavaria region. The views on the mountain top are wonderful and Kings Lake is very pretty. Not enough time on half day for a King's Lake boat ride. Hotel Pickup, Private Vehicle, beautiful views are 100% accurate. The use of tour or guide is a stretch. Renting a car or hiring an Uber and taxi will give you the same results.

We booked a private tour. We got Be Special Tours from Viator. It was the best day in a super Mercedes Van with an exceptional Driver/Tour Guide called Peter. Peter was very charismatic and learned about the area and very entertaining and courteous as well. I would recommend Be Special tours and Peter especially .

A must do when in this area We booked the tour as I found out during my research before the trip about the Hitler’s eagle’s nest. I really wanted to see it but unfortunately due to snowfall in September this year we could not see it. Bernie still made the day so much more than I expected: From driving to the remains of the original house of Hitler to the see some of the other remains to the documentation center including the bunker systems and then to the top of a mountain to get almost the same view as from the eagle’s nest. We also saw a nice lake (I do not remember the lake any more) and the spectacular nature there. Absolutely outstanding. If you like the history of World WarII a definite must see!

I knew that this area can be crowed and I have read that the eagle’s nest has sometimes huge waiting lined but what we got was so much more. Our Guide Bernie had the tickets ready, avoided the crowds so that we did not even realized how many people were there. We had the elevator for ourselves, we saw the submarine engine and the views are just stunning! We loved the village of Berchtesgaden and loved the walking tour through it with so much fun stories. Thank you for making this day such a treat.

I was blown away of how much history I learned during this tour. Maybe I forgot about the positive side of hitler when he raised up and how evil it all turned out. the area is mind-blowing beautiful. Our Guide Gary showed us the mountains and the lakes of this beautiful area. But it really shocked me to learn also the history. I really would not want to have missed this tour. I wish this day could have continued! Such a treat!

Our tour guide Alex was awesome!!!!! The Eagles Nest was closed due to the road being closed so we couldn’t go up in it. He made up for it by taking us to King’s Lake which was incredible! Alex was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us a lot along the way to and from our hotel! What could have been a bummer (the closing of Eagles Nest), he quickly turned into a positive by taking us to King’s Lake! I highly recommend this company and tour! If you’re lucky enough to get Alex, all the better! He will make sure you enjoy your time and you’ll definitely learn a lot!

We highly recommend Be Special Tours for a memorable and unique experience. We especially appreciated the personalized attention and the little extras that made the day so special. We visited the Eagle's Nest, the Salt Mines, and several beautiful villages in the lake district. Gray provided so much interesting information and made sure we had a great time.

We took this tour with Be Special Tours and I can say that they really made us feel special. Our family enjoyed it to the fullest. We saw the lake district area, went on a summer toboggan ride (great fun for the kids), and had some great experiences with a nice mountain lake where we had lunch before arriving in Hallstatt. We enjoyed this little town and despite the crowds, we got a true feeling for the village. We saw so many things we would have never been able to see on our own. I cannot thank you enough for this day!
