  We had a great time on our boat tour and snorkeling trip in Moorea with Mermaid Private boat tours. Luna and Clement took us to some beautiful snorkeling spots. One of the best snorkeling trips we have been on. Additionally they pointed out many sites along the way and gave us great tips for other activities including hiking and dining. The photos they took and shared with us were a nice bonus too. Highly recommend.

  Luna and Clem, were absolutely awesome! They were super accommodating, insightful and respectful to the aquatic splendor. We saw spinner dolphins, sharks, rays, turtles and innumerable fish so amazing! I encourage you to go early to beat the crowds.

  We had the most incredible experience on this tour! From start to finish, everything was well organised, safe, and so much fun. Swimming with sharks and rays was unforgettable, and the coral reef was stunning. On top of that, we were lucky enough to see dolphins and turtles, which made the day even more magical. What really set this tour apart were our guides. They were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and caring, always making sure my wife and I felt safe and comfortable. Their warmth and professionalism made the whole experience even more enjoyable. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re visiting, this is an absolute must-do!

  Booking a private snorkeling tour with Luna and Clem (Mermaid Boat Tours) was one of the best decisions we made in planning our honeymoon in French Polynesia! This experience was truly a highlight of our trip. Luna and Clem were very easy to communicate with. Luna even reached out a couple of days ahead of our schedule tour to let us know that the weather report wasn’t looking great for that day and recommended that we shift our schedule to a different day and we’re so appreciative of that because we ended up with the most PERFECT morning of snorkeling. Luna and Clem picked us up at our resort at 7:00am and started with giving us a bit of a tour of the island of Moorea taking photos of us with the gorgeous landscape in the background. Clem then spotted some spinner dolphins playing in the surf and took our boat out to get a closer look. It was incredible to see them jumping and playing! Then they took us to our first snorkeling location where we swam with the sting rays and black tip reef sharks. The sharks stayed at least 5-6 feet away from us and were completely harmless but amazing to see so many up close. The sting rays were very friendly and liked to come up close to say hi! Luna was in the water with us and took photos with her GoPro the whole time which she then air-dropped to our phones at the end of our tour. This was awesome because we could focus on enjoying the snorkeling without focusing on taking pictures. Clem was even snapping photos of us from the boat too. He did a great job as captain! Then we went to a second spot where we got to see multiple sea turtles. Then at the last snorkeling spot we went to a coral garden where we could see all kinds of tropical fish in the more shallow waters. Luna pointed out so many neat things that we would have otherwise missed if she hadn’t been in the water with us. She was an amazing guide with so much experience and knowledge. Then Luna and Clem laid out a beautiful platter of fresh fruit and local pineapple juice for us to have as a snack before the short boat ride back to our resort. As I said, this was a highlight of our trip and I would strongly recommend booking a tour with Luna and Clem if you are considering a visit to Moorea!

  Luna and Clem are the best ! A must do if you are looking for a snorkel tour on Moorea. Very personable and private tour that takes you to all the best spots and find the best encounters available on the lagoon that day; eagle rays, sharks, stingrays, coral garden and turtles. Stayed at Sofitel so they couldn't pick us up there but it was worth the short 5 minute drive to meet them in the morning.   the booking of the tour was very simple, the boat with Luna and her captain was waiting for us. We went to three different places and Luna was the best guide. It seemed that she knows every fish personelly... We saw Reefsharks and Stingrays first in kristall clear water. No other people around. Then Eagle Rays and turtles, and finished with coral garden lots of fishes and beautiful corals. She took a lot of photos for us and also told us later many interesting thingsabout the island and had other good tips what to do. Overall such a good experience that we booked her twice. Thanks

  Our guide Luna made our bucket list trip amazing!! During trip she explained some history of the island, we saw dolphins, sting rays, lots of coral, and also had a nice spread of fruit…She also said ‘this is your trip so anything you need let me know’…..it was great…

  We came to French Polynesia for our honeymoon and spent a day in Moorea with Luna, and it ended up being one of the most special days of our entire trip. From the moment we met her, her warm, contagious smile set the tone. She made us feel at ease right away, and it felt like we had known her for years. There was a genuine connection, and her love for the ocean was infectious. She took us to incredible snorkeling spots, helped us swim with sharks and stingrays in peaceful, uncrowded areas, and showed us hidden coral reefs full of life. We even got lucky and saw dolphins and turtles. Nothing felt rushed Luna was so patient and present the entire time. What made the experience even more special was how she adapted the day to match our energy and comfort level. She gently encouraged us to be a bit more adventurous, and we’re so glad she did. She shared so much knowledge, took stunning GoPro footage for us, and went above and beyond in every way. By the end of the trip, it felt like we made a friend. Luna gave us a memory we’ll hold onto forever, and we’re so grateful for the joy she brought into our honeymoon.

  The scenery is amazing and Luna shares a lot of information about the environment and the seabed. She also takes beautiful photos during the dive which leaves unforgettable memories. They are great, do not hesitate it was a unique experience Both for parents and for our 2 teenagers! Thank you Luna and Clement.

  This was unreal. The most magical experience we’ve ever had. Luna reached out to see if we wanted to move to an earlier time as they didn’t have anyone booked and there was a cruise coming in. That was the best call ever. We beat every other company/cruise/excursion to all the best sights and saw it all. It did rain at one point but that didn’t get us down. The pictures Luka took with the GoPro were amazing. This was recommended to us by a friend who absolutely raved about it and we will be doing the same.
